Looks like a piece of junk, buy a Proxxon lathe...
25mm is far too high for this lathe! 10mm is sufficient and can therefore be used with the 3 jaw chuck work sensibly!

The title and description is misleading. Much easier to turn a square into a circle on a lathe than a circle into a square. You are literally just demonstrating what lathes are intended to do, what a pointless video.

I like mine, but it was missing a couple of parts.

If this lathe was any good, you wouldn't have to do what they show you to do. If the chuck was any good, it would automatically center the work piece. Truth is, this machine is not precision . They don't show it cutting that bar of aluminum, because as soon as you try to make a cut, it is going to wobble.
