10.9 is commendable, however I expected a much faster run.

People become complacent. it probably started with a small block with a aluminum intake and headers.ended up tubed sounding like north of 600hp but the stock bench seat never got made into a couch for the garage.

Awe man does this bring back memories. Nice to see the trans is working out and you’re having fun! I take the Porsche line on turn 1 too but the reason for that is to go way inside on the exit of turn 1. That way you can attack turn 2 at a much higher speed and stay on it through turn 3. By going outside exiting turn 1 you have to slow down for turn 2 and that costs a lot of time. On 5 stay way out and go WOT up to it. Just before the turn tap the brakes and use the high speed momentum to zip a nice smooth motion all the way through that mess up to the tight left hander coming up. It took a few hundred laps to get the balls to do that but the car will hold it. Gained several seconds. I need to take my underpowered junk out there again dang it…. Let me know when you go again :)

That's 220 not the widow maker, the real hill is across the river I've climbed it many times and it's no joke, closed now but 20 years ago its was the hill of hills to climb seen 4x4's fail and end up in the river.

what power was it making during this run? 3.08 with a DA of 9000+ is amazing, for sure with a much better DA of 1000 and below this would be in the 2s 60-130 !

I'm guessing a 4 point or 5 anchored to the roll cage was one of the first things installed on the rebuild.

Maybe next time he races or drives a car he will wear his seat belts how stupid do you have to be to not wear your seat belt harness im glad he walked away

This is NOT the infamous "Windomaker Hill" at Hackett Gulch near Divide, CO. The real Windowmaker Hill is at the bottom at the 2nd river crossing which is closed off with boulders to prevent passage & has been for 20+ years. VERY few people (even with both diffs with lockers) made it up. I heard of one but never saw anyone. It is ~150 yards long, full of moguls & gruss with a 3' rock ledge (while you are at a 40° angle) near the top that stopped 99.9% of all motorized vehicles (trucks, atvs, sxs, dirtbikes). There was a great camping spot at the bottom to watch people try and many many did. The USFS closed it due to errosion.

That race against the perf was baddddd, sheesh. That was a slingshot.
