I really needed to hear this. Recently gravely hurt by my own church leadership. So close to just leaving the church. I just pray for more grace to grow in humility to allow God to continue to work in me, and to grow in obedience notwithstanding all that has happened.

This is a lovely effort. 💖 But as a lapsed Catholic, it reminded me... Is there any way that our neighbourhood parishes can be more welcoming of everyone? For those of us from non-Catholic families, it can often feel intimidating & lonely going to mass - especially on Sunday. After a while, stopped going entirely.

Lord God please hear our prayers for Pope Francis. Bless, protect, guide and give good health in carrying out his vision and mission of peace and love as Your representative in the world during his 11-day visit to the countries of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and Singapore from Sept 2 - 13. Keep him from all harm and danger and may he return home safely after this long journey. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen 🙏 Mother Mary and St. Joseph please pray for Pope Francis and all faithful Catholics. Amen 🙏

My Key points: Papal Mass Stadium Preparation: 1. The stadium is consecrated as a sacred space for the Holy Mass. Respect the sanctity and sacredness of the space. 2. Gates will open at 12:30 PM. The stadium is ventilated. Transportation and Security: 1. Use public transport, carpool, or drop-off as some car parks are closed. 2. Be prepared for security checks by the police. Not allowed: Long umbrellas, sharp objects, water, professional cameras, outside food. Allowed: Empty bottles (can be refilled), walking sticks with rubber stoppers, foldable umbrellas. Merchandise and Dress Code: 1. Do purchase Papal visit merchandise to support the event costs (e.g., T-shirts, water tumblers, fans). 2. Adhere to the church proper dress code, (no shorts, slippers,) but avoid all-white attire. Yellow is the Pope's color. Finally , Respect & Reverence for the stadium area, fellow worshippers, volunteers and officials as, remember the purpose of our visit , is to to worship together for Holy Mass.
