I'll never forget the show in Santa Ana in 2017 when Power Trip played with Gatecreeper and Cannibal Corpse. I had never heard Gatecreeper before that show, but they ruled. Riley was out there on the floor/in the pit during Gatecreeper's opening set! I loved Power Trip's music but had somehow never looked images of the band up or saw them live before that (I was pretty new to Metal music), so I didn't realize it at the time, but I bumped shoulders with Riley during Gatecreeper's set. Next thing I know, I see him on stage leading Power Trip. Biggest mindfuck of my life, but it was fucking awesome. Goes to show how much he loved the scene. Riley will always be missed.
