I liked how gritty the movies could get, but weeks kinda lost me. The characters were harder to care about for me, and the whole rage virus thing felt like a change up from days because the father turned zombie did some questionable things and didn't act like a typical infected. Seemed quite a bit smarter which I guess was supposed to add to the suspense, but it felt more like a convenient way to get more milage out of his character without it having to make sense.

100% we'll be getting Gay zombies and trans protagonists, oh and the bad guy will be white.

It's not REALLY a zombie movie by any definition. Still a great movie, don't get me wrong, but a zombie is a very specific thing, and people going mad and killing each other isn't really what zombies do. They don't fight, they are no longer living, and they don't stop. The infected in the 28 movies are their own very distinct thing.

without any hesitation it is single handedly the best godzilla movie to come out in a VERY long time. not only is the writing amazing but on a historical level they did not miss a single detail.
