    I own this laser and it seems to measure consistently 2mm big. I had it replaced under warranty and the replacement does the same. I compared the replacement side by side with a co-workers Hilti and once again, 2mm big consistently. Easy fix though- remove 2mm when cutting.

    Thanks to your review...i went and got the same hikoki pack also...as it was offering extra 3 batteries via redemption...i think bosch starlock system is far superior to any ios blade system....that hikoki multi tool has very low vibration and that blade change isn't too much of a hassle...thanks for the update...I'll be extra careful about that screw or even buy a replacement somewhere as a spare.

    Yes it happened to me also. I couldn't believe how easy it was to break off. It did snap back on though and I haven't had a problem since. I don't know why it would be designed that way. Snapping it back on did seem to take a little time and I was very surprised when it did. I thought it was broken for good for sure

  • @joevaiese
    @joevaiese Před měsícem

    It’s a common problem with that multi tool. I’m pretty sure there is an alternative pin you can get to replace the stock one that isn’t as brittle. The wing tips underneath the cap that came off are prone to breaking too. I feel like it’s a heat issue when the blade gets hot and transfers to the pin

  • @RJ-cc1fz

    When framing exterior walls u will have a hell of a time if u put all the studs bow down.. the studs will be rocking when building the wall. The studs will be falling over. More over after a top or bottom plate is nailed to the stud the other plate will be difficult to nail off because of the different amount of stud bows making the ends of the studs at different heights…

    That bags are not correctly positioned. Bring them forward more. The hole is because your using a chisel that’s meant to go in a chisel sheath that diamond back make for this reason. Plus the nylon is lighter and stronger then the leather. Also Diamondback come with more warranty are are far more modular. DB make the best systems

    You can tell which people use tools for a living and those that dont. The features that matter are noise, vibrations in your hand and cost of blade replacement Since these are highly consumable items. Milwaukee wins here.

    I have the M12 and the Newer Hikoki (Metabo HPT version). I had the Dewalt, but something about the Dewalt that bothered me, this was years ago, is that their multi tools are mad loud, and I think it has to do with that mechanism. It has that high pitch sound as in the blade isn't well secured. I do prefer the open ended blades as they are universal, with this you don't have to remove the pin in the milwaukee. so there's that. I don't mind how metabo HPT works, I actually prefer it over the milwaukee, both have magnets, but it's spring loaded and helps with removing it and reinstalling it with that corner turn. so I'm not necessarily afraid of loosing the part, as honestly never dropped it in any of my multitools. so that fear is well in think unwarranted

      @evictioncarpentry2628 Před měsícem

      The Dewalt one is pure garbage. I own it and milwaukee Fuels. You can't use the Dewalt in awkward angles because of the handle. And it vibrates 100x more then any other multitool. It's crap

    • @yup3398
      @yup3398 Před měsícem

  • @rickace132
    @rickace132 Před měsícem

    I still would use the Milwaukee over the others. The reasons is because it's more comfortable, has less vibrations, it has power, it doesn't have a stupid trigger like Dewalt, you set it and that all you need to do. And most importantly, it has the automatic feature, which is great. I use the auto feature the most.

  • @Knackers_Oreilly
