A man of your calibre needs a bigger workshop. Since I was 16 all I ever wanted was a shed big enough to swing a cat in.ha ha
Aaand you can take ALL of your luggage along.. Hurahh
Most of their bikes look like they should be restoration projects.... Im going to avoid these.
Went to look at a bike last week at superbike factory Donnington. Found a nice looking honda to which i enquired about £4890 Which was a little steep for the age and mileage but looked a tidy bike so i wanted to go ahead. After being talked into applying for finance for the bike the agreement come back accepted at extortionate rates! Baring in mind im in the good band on expirian credit report. So i decided (which i was going to initially do) buy the bike cash. To which i got told that the price displayed isn't actually the real price and that there was an administration fee and change of documentation fee. I ran out that place!!! Beware they want you to purchase through credit/hp as thats where they make the most profits.
Nice tribute vid. Miss Steve vids. May his spirit live on.
Did you see they had a Police plane up last weekend around Betws y Coed, pulled loads of bikers, small number plates cost lives apparently 🤔
More taxpayer's money being wasted again !
Has the Suzuki gone then? You change your bikes more than I change my underwear 😁 Used to go to the Ponderosa a lot....40mph limit, loads of cagers, sheep, and went around one of the corners nearer the quarry and hit a load of gravel 💩, plus it attracts the Rozzers.
I just go to look at the bikes these days, The food at the cafe is pretty awful , Suzuki has been sold on.
@@mcycle24 your right about the food. Find myself at either Sam's cafe in Denbigh or Chain and Sprocket Ruthin these days. I'll look out for you on the Hornet 👍
@@vonnoobenstein Didn’t know about a cafe in Ruthin, I pass through there quite often so I’ll have to check it out.👍
But where were Albert and Mavis? Poor Steve I miss his videos.
@@Peakwanderer They were in the cars holding everyone up as usual 😥
Great video, nice trbute
If you do 20 instead of 30 around town you only lose 5 minutes in a journey the light system doesn't allow you to speed anyway. Country roads haven't changed matter of fact lots of roads haven't changed
Just got mine today ! Excited. Great video.
an absolute nono, no doubt! However: maybe next time after you have passed, move to the left on your lane and keep your speed in order to enable a following rider to get back in lane. Before you passed you must have seen this guy in the mirror, so giving him room to get back in would have been courteous
@@eberhardh I was on a ZZR1200 and I did check my mirrors after the overtake and noticed my bike was much faster accelerating and had opened up a large gap on the Goldwing so there was plenty of room, Goldwing was trying to race a Ducati sports bike who did drop in behind me and waited for a safer place to overtake. I slowed down a bit because I didn’t want to exceed the speed limits of the road.
Ive heard about this snatchy throttle,im not a biker yet have not passed my test ,i can ride though,im 52 a skinny tall guy i also have dodgy knees 😂 do you think its suitable for a more mature rider like myself even though i will be essentially a new rider . Or should i go the other way save some cash and get an older carb bandit
@@dubsnbuds6668 If you have dodgy knees you’re better going for the Bandit as it has lower foot peg position.
I've got a 550 in a smoke shaded black (in the right light and angle it appears like a dark purple) but this 1100 in that green... man, it's just majestic. Keep on riding it and enjoying it whilst being safe! ✌️
Kawasakis and north Wales are a match made in heaven
I gotta agree with you on carbureted vintage bikes vs FI, computer chipped bikes. Late '70's to early 2000's bikes are the most soulful. Love your ZR1100! What a beauty.
Bike is gorgeous. I have to agree, the slightly older 1990's early 200'0's bikes were the golden epoch before everything became digitalised. I don't think Ive ever owned a full injected bike, cant say if they are soulless, but I can believe its true.
This is pure life man! Keep going
Did this fault stop the fuel pump priming
Yes.
Good video ❤
Had a new 93 and 99 and many years later bought a used 2000. Really great all around bike that stood the test of time. Cheers.
Thanks for the Great Overview. The B3/B4 Models (1996/1997) are known to have the head gasket fixed...the factory did a silent update i guess. I like my B4 from 1997...its like a mini Hayabusa..insanely stable at high speed...never feel the need for a steering damper. only model with a fuel gauge... nice to have.
Is it worth just turning off the fuel and running it dry?. It might leave a little in the float bowl but would that be ok?
You seem to be the Zx9r man.would you happen to know the blue wheel colour code ? Also where I can get the ninja decals for same bike as yours … cheers. Great looking machine by the way..
He is a great example of squids that actually got old instead of dying.
Looks very nice and in great conditions. :) Cheers.
I sold my "02 ZZR1200 when I bought my 2020 Z900RS Cafe.
I watch your vids and I’ve done a lot of DIY just from watching you, I have a 1995 zx600e It’s currently in the shop, bike sat for 10 plus years. It’s my 1st bike I can’t wait to ride it.
I weigh like 165 lbs do you recommend getting an aftermarket rear suspension? I've read people say that suspension isn't the best.
You don't need to be in 6th all the time. I have a TDM and 6th gear is perfect for bigger roads. Its like an overdrive
Im debating getting a 1400 or 1200. Right now I am happy with my 1100 zzr though. Would love to see a comparison video between a late 1200 and early 1400
I have done a comparison, Check out my other videos.
The only bike i really miss!
Didnt know they did an electric ZZR...
Shots In Mo Ji (Japanese) Just this moment As It Is
👍🏍️✊
Is there a video on fitting?
What are the stock jet sizes ? I suspect mine may have been done, but I'd like to check it at some stage. Mine has the K&N Filter and Yoshimura full system so I have a feeling it may have a kit fitted. The bike is a beast and definitely feels more alive than others I've sampled. Possibly has a cam too.
Some friendly advice to everyone. If you are a DIY type who tinkers on their Jap bikes, get yourselves some JIS screw drivers. (Japanese Industry Standard) screw drivers are a must, especially when doing carby work so you don't ruin the screws. The screws are made for JIS screw drivers for best mechanical fit and purchase of the screw itself.
I had a D2 4 into 1 for 20 years sold it for 600 quid when i left the country. Did many bike rallies on it Bulldog Rock and blues MCN weekends and many more.... Miss it like mad
Really great video. Thankyou
I appreciate the technical review! Good straightforward information.
I suspect that dirty coolingwater is making problems for myself. Going to flush the system and change it. I thought it might be the battery but after I saw my cooling water I suspect that this device isn't working properly. I bought the bike used last year. I guess the previous owner either changed the cooling water with the wrong one or topped it off with the wrong one. Going to check if the pin moves freely.
Хороший обзор 👍 что за музыка играет?? Как называется группа?

A good day indeed! Looks like a fantastic ride… apart from the odd cattle grate
Best thing for me was the traffic free roads giving a stress free ride.
What roads please? more near the beginning of the video👍
Nice day for a ride out 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 enjoy.
Great bikes, those.
I get rid on a Busa 03 for a zzr 1200 ...this one ..just a decent bike👍😇
A good example of what to expect from car drivers. The safest rider in the world could be taken out by lunatics who run red lights... Agree with the comments...Best look and exercise caution. 👌
Glad your avoided a nasty collision, years of experience looking out for this sort of thing, other comment about pulling away fast is so true. Treat traffic light junctions as if it is just an ordinary unmarked crossroads. 😊 Looking left and right as you turn. 👍👍👍👍
That's why I never pull away from the lights fast, give the red light runners time to pass👍
We were talking about this today, that you NEVER see sports bikes on the road anymore. I worked as a technician for Honda back in early 2000's and the market was booming. A lot of it comes down to price where you could pick up a brand new 600 with disposable income (in cash), today you've no chance.... £24,000 for a 30th anniversary Fireblade!? Standard Repsol Blades used to leave our place at £8000
Is this the same as gpz 500 1990
Yes.
