I’m loving listening to Orbital by Samantha Harvey. It’s long listed for the Booker. It follows astronauts on one 24 day as the orbit. It has a cool map in the front you probably want to look at, but the reader is so good. It’s a short book. I haven’t finished-so hopefully it doesn’t go wrong 😂

Hi C - I think as soon as you have a channel you come into the world of exposure, that comes with it, and as viewers we can either comment, complain, or stop listening. And often I watch people I like, and sometimes a few to learn from, but as long as the comments are open, I always feel I can ask anything or say anything within reason. And I do find that of the people I continue to watch become accessible over time, and I have been able to make to make real friends. One is Rose from Roselikescrochet who lives near my sister and we met on a pre covid trip when I was visiting... spent days in the yarn shops and small fortunes together. And the other is Rosie from Nonna's Stitching lounge who was just here and bam instant friends and she is from Toronto. I stopped my channel because I had nothing to say and I love to crochet but I hate the result and OH MY how much stuff I gave to war zones and how much I still have even after giving. Keep going. I don't know what it is about you that caught me. Voice, hands, the way you cut, the way you work, I do look forward to the long ones as you know but what I don't watch, ever, is the flip throughs. Of no one. I think they are all boring because it's all the same language. Maybe. I didn't even look at the one I bought. OK. It's Friday. Have a good week end. J

Oh my. I would really love to come over and cut and paste with you. What a pile of stuff ! Love it but I don't have it here. Waiting for the September pages... have fun. Warmest to all. Love all the Tues 10s. I'm often wondering "does it really matter what you put where" and often I think no. But when I'm making a journal I do care so it's just a personal taste thing.... but actually it doesn't matter...! It's hot in the Netherlands this week (good) and we have quiet week. Soon we again start on speaking tours re the Mid East. I don't love doing it but one does have to get out...! Hmmmm actually it does matter what you put where. And I don't think Fleur is Dutch as I've never seen it here but because of the title I'm thinking it's from Belgium. They are french and dutch, odd little country. A good one, just odd, like here in NL.
