Hello everybody,
in this video I play the second movement of Beethovens Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Opus 13, also known as "Pathétique".
At the time of composing, Beethoven was 27 years old. He dedicated the piece to Prince Karl von Lichnowsky, whom Beethoven held in high esteem as one of the "most loyal friends and promoters" of his art.

Favourite bit at 1:47 where the 2 notes are alternating to begin with then become synchronised. Feels like apprehension. Like holding your breath.

nice! i was just wondering, well if you still reply, how did you match the left hand part so perfectly, im still struggling to find the correct tempo for it, When you do F, C, E, A and the next ones, mine sounds out paste, i can play it faster but then its just too fast, idk if youll help but nice job playing this piece
Hey, I can recommend to practice it slowly at first. Besides it makes it easier to play if you count the beat while practicing (for example 1-12 or 2x1-6) if you know what i mean. I hope this will help you playing it fast, but precisely.
@@jls9020 thanks, yeah was pretty confused on the beats. Laster found out why and it was coz i was playing the right hand on the first and last notes, which would be F and A on the first chords but it was mean to go on F and the 2nd E

How long did it take to learn this piece?
I have learned this a arrangement a while back and im like intermediate myself so I am alright but not that good and it took me around 3-4 weeks to really get it down it is not that bad lots of repeating patterns
