      No,it will be negative heat of formation always negative for bond formation and positive when bond breakage takes place,in this case mg reacts with O2 to form mgo hence bind formation takes place and so heat is released and negative

    bruh u got an entire screen to use and draw out structures, channels, and the flow and you choose to to scribble everything into 1 frame of the screen. im tryna learn the order of these channels and what blocks what, this video did not help at all. the question of the day isn't even coming to my inbox. absolutely nobody has time to watch a 35min video even on 2x speed that has nothing to do with MCAT, just rudimentary basic dumb "study techniques" - waste of time

    would you not do at least one r allele = 2pq + q^2, or does this question assume q^2 is negligible due to lethality?

      the question stem wants you to solve for “carriers” since the disease presents itself only with 2 recessive alleles aka homozygous, we are looking for heterozygous individuals aka ONLY 2pq. careful with question stem, some will ask lethality, some for carriers.

    Naturally the addition of ammonia (NH3) to a carboxylic acid forms an amide, but the reaction is very slow in the laboratory at room temperature. However, Carboxylic acid is stronger organic acid and ammonia is also a good base. If we mix both of them, a salt can be formed initially e.g. CH3COOH+NH3 = CH3COONH4, then if this reaction is heated further it can be converted into amide i.e. CH3CONH2 +H2O. As, water molecules are split out, and a bond is formed between the nitrogen atom and the carbonyl carbon atom.

    Hello! I am confused about the myelinated sheaths on the axons. Since there are no action potentials happening there, I was under the impression that the charges/ions propagate via graded potential. Is this true, or am I conflating two concepts? Thank you for the video!
