Here's a video I made of my interpretation of the great Italian 15th century painter Paolo Veronese's masterpiece "NOZZE DI CANA" that you inquired about on my brochure. Veronese's original painting is a sublime and massive (6.77 m × 9.94 m (267 in × 391 in) canvas that was painted in 1563 during the Renaissance. The French under the command of the young Napoleon Bonaparte, tore the artwork from the wall of the monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in 1797 as part of their plunder of Venice. The painting is now housed in the Louvre Museum where it keeps company in the same grand exhibition hall as the Mona Lisa. I put together a short slide show of my creation of "NOZZE DI CANA" ( 80" x 55" oil on linen, price upon request) that I think you will enjoy. I also perform the music: czcams.com/video/Md0ewNeHEwU/video.html CIAO! Tony www.tonygreen.net

Mathew is obviously the one pointing away , the elder man . I don't know why humans need to debate this, take a chapter out your own books. when someone calls you out after you know you've done something that you shouldn't have, the immediate move is to name the other or redirect that attention to a next but never to thyself.
these videos are so amazing and digestible
The Lord Jesus Christ revealed to me that Michelangelo was Jesus Christ and Mary in this sculpture is in fact his wife Mary Magdelene. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who is God, He was the artist, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, Dante was also Jesus Christ.

Brilliant explabation
If you love Gothic architecture and/or cathedrals, read "Pillars of the Earth". It's a sweeping historical novel that follows the construction of a cathedral in early medieval England during The Anarchy. One of my favorite books of all time and a must-read.
i was forced to watch this
awesome
Thank you!!😃
I love Þorn
this is such a bad video
yes yours is much better
Matthew is the clean shaven younger boy at the extreme left - I don’t care what so-called art experts have to say. Caravaggio was a subtle and EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT painter who would often include himself in several of his Biblical paintings! - A bearded Matthew here (unlike in the other 2 Matthew paintings by him) just won’t make sense. There is no drama - the DRAMA is in the extremeties - Christ at the right and the youth at the left. Christ is calling - the boy is oblivious and/or straining to ignore, immersing himself in money. All three index fingers are creating a triangle and pointing to the youth! Caravaggio has captured the moment BEFORE Matthew the youth lifts his head and his life is changed forever.
gothic > romanesque simple as
That's the most complicated and least useful interpretation. Maybe Magritte wanted us to know we look like nothing more than the fruit we offer to others..
I like it

Hup Oh, the power to be strong And the wisdom to be wise All these things will come to you in time On this journey that you're making There'll be answers that you'll seek And it's you who'll climb the mountain It's you who'll reach the peak Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Someday you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be Though there's no one there to guide you No one to take your hand But with faith and understanding You will journey from boy to man Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Someday you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be In learning you will teach And in teaching you will learn You'll find your place beside the ones you love Oh, and all the things you dreamed of The visions that you saw Well, the time is drawing near now It's yours to claim it all Son of Man, look to the sky Lift your spirit, set it free Someday you'll walk tall with pride Son of Man, a man in time you'll be Ooh Ooh, yah-oh Ooh, yah-oh Ooh, yah-oh Ooh Son of Man Son of Man's a man for all to see

What do you mean by saying copper is one of the least reactive? That most of the times it is reduced, so that it is a bad reductant?
He was so good in his own lifetime that everyone knew the work of this man,Popes demanded his services, this guy was Superior to Davinci artistically
Greatest sculpture in history. Those wrinkles on her drapery, just amazing. All from 1 piece of marble!
Thanks bro
This masterpiece has always been my favorite impressionist painting. I might add, however, that you are mispronouncing "Moulin."
"Th" looks so weird to me now
Shouldn't the skewed perspective be mentioned? The firing squad is not executing the figures on the left, they're shooting at something off canvas, to the right of the three condemned men. (It's almost as if the condemned were added as an 'after-thought.') I think you're overthinking the putative 'political message,' and not paying enough attention to this piece in the context of Manet's overall body of work. BTW, the person on the wall is probably intended to be PULLING THEIR HAIR in anguish, NOT being "apathetic."
Love this! My students thought it VERY well done! Question: I am a piiot and saw the instrument panel poster. Do you also fly?
Venus is so beautiful
Quick hint from a dutch speaker; you're pronouncing "De Stijl" not correctly. you can simply use your english way of saying "Style" and draw the "Yle" out less. None of that "Sh" or "sgh"
No gloves, no eye protection set a good example dude.
