    7:09 Sir, can you please clarify what is the unit followed for "First Layer Thickness" ? And, in general does Hypermesh use metres or mm for length?

    • @simtech0598
      @simtech0598 Před měsícem

      Dear, The unit is mm, hypermesh is unit less. During export mode you have to decide whether model is in mm or m. Layer thickness is not as per standard rule..just shown the example...how we can create inflation layers or boundary layer. Hypermesh provide calculator for 1st layer thickness calculation, one can calculate layer thickness by providing fluid properties, duct/chamber dimensions and flow characteristics.

    But when scaling the mass, the wave speed also decreases and there may be errors due to its excess? And isn’t it more profitable from the point of view of computational time to shorten the loading period, since in this case the inertial forces are proportional to the first degree of this reduction, and when scaling the mass it is necessary to increase the inertial forces in proportion to the square of the increase in the stable increment?

    Hello,Sir.I hope everything is going well for you.Sir, I am working on a thesis project related to coupled temperature displacement that requires me to validate a paper.But the paper refers “ We normalized time along with the normalization of thermal conductivity with its reciprocal in order to bring down the computational cost of simulations. The obtained solution using normalized time was again converted back to normal time accordingly” How can I get all of the results in real time using Abaqus after normalizing time and thermal conductivity? Sir,i havent got any response from the author of the paper. Any advice you could provide me on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention.I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    • @simtech0598

    Sir 1 doubt. In my company when we convert mesh into second order, many times elements gets distorted and shows error. So what we do is, we first export 1st order mesh. So its geometry surface removed. Then we covert elements into second order. It means mid nodes comes between the element but it remains straight as first order. Is this approach correct?
