Salvage refloat - 30 ton water truck at 85 meters deep | Gove dam in Angola
In Huambo, Angola, during requalification work on the Gove Dam, a 30-ton empty tanker truck fell into the water, sinking at the bottom of the dam's intake, about 85 meters deep. A skilled divers team equipped with lift bags and gas mixtures for those deeps successfully refloated the truck, allowing for its removal. Celebrating after their achievement, surrounded by Angola's stunning landscapes, friendly locals, and flavorsome traditional cuisine.

I have done this. But we did not have proper salvage bags. We used dunnage bags inside old fertilizer bags. The boat was a bit smaller, only 10 tonnes. It is a great feeling when she lifts off the bottom. I was hoping to see how you attached the bags. To get ideas how to do a better job next time.

This happened in Algarve Olhão. The boat was recovered and repaired back to its glory. it was an accident inside the navigation channel. An idiot of a sea gypsy instead of passing by the stern, passes in the bow. In an attempt to avoid the crash, it crashed into the channel's buoyage, making a huge hole and poured water into it. The pirate who ignored the good rules of navigation, simply continued no one realized what happened except who was aboard. Sorry for not giving a quick reply to your question.
