my weeden big giant vintage engine, this is a trial run after a few soldering jobs to pipes and around safety valve that were leaking steam. runs well now but noisy ( crankshaft wear ) but it is 80 yes old.

Robinson style scratch built hot air engine

made this on a bigger scale than the Robinson B4. made from steal plate , steal pipe and cast iron for cylinder and piston. formed displacer piston from .50 copper sheet. flywheel dia of 7inch. was a challenge to build but am pleased with result, will make a external water cooling tank later.😊

my latest eBay purchase, this engine has a diaphragm power piston that I haven't seen before, the gentleman who made this was a clever man.
