I am so glad I found this video! I just purchased this same bike that is same color and same vinyl decals and everything. Mine does not have the plastics below the knees so I couldn't tell what it was. The title and info plates on the bike (which were off of a Chinese 50cc scooter) looked horrible and I don't know if I can get it titled as it doesn't have the original vin anywhere I can see. Your bike looks great and now that I k ow what it is, I can try and fix it up and get it going.

have you figured out a clue with votol or you got another controler ? I did try the same with a em200sp with similar results, i was wondering if controller was too large for the motor but it is probably something else...i ended up running mine with a standard non programmable ebike controller...but those motors are cheap so a solution to run them with reduced flux at good price would be very interresting...

I had the Same problem tryed 2 times to get what I thought were 20 AH battery Packs failed to get the real thing each time ended up getting 2 x 24 AH 52 Volt packs for £700 pound Both wait 13 Pounds each and Give me 56 Miles riding at 20 mph on my Engwe EP-2 Pro, So very happy

I ordered a battery pack like that a few years ago. It was inexpensive. Turned out though that the manufacturer mislabeled the pack and it was supposed to be for up to 750W motors. BMS cut power anytime I went above 750W. Seller refunded my money and told my to keep the battery. Wow you're relatable. I got my first ebike in 2009 and I had a GT Aggressor with dual hub motor kits at one point.

I had an SIS board similar to that. For that era, I wouldn't choose any video card other than VLB. However, you really can't be picky these days, without expecting to spend a fortune. I wish there were more parts available - parts that used to be extremely common. Even generic S3 VLB cards were significantly faster than the ISA counterparts. It only took minimal setup, to have satisfactory results in DOS, as well. VLB drive controllers gave good performance, too. Some of the VLB multi I/O cards supported serial port speeds, that we take for granted now, but weren't present in ISA cards.
