Will It Grow
We're big fans of Jakob Dylan. We saw him once at The Sage Gateshead as part of the Americana Festival and we were hooked. This is a bleak song about subsistence farming in the USA. It also has alternate bars of 3/4 and 4/4 (or at least that's how I hear it....

Maybe There's a Road

Our cover version of a Karine Polwart song about people trafficking. All too often vulnerable people looking for a better life end up in a worse situation than the one they left behind. As usual, Karine's take on the subject is spot on.

This is a song about growing up in Sunderland in the 1950's and 60's. If you were there you'll remember. If not, this is what it looked like!

Excellent vid the Football match was probably the greatest game Sunderland, played in. Sunderland in the second division played the mighty Tottenham hotspur. The goal is the equalising goal by Willie McPheat, who swung on the crossbar after scoring. The year was 1961 and I believe it was the fifth round of the FA Cup.
