Very true. A simple yet profound universal truth. People forget that we're blank slates at birth & then we take damage. Some people's lives have little to no adversity & other people's lives are an endless series of adversity. Most of us are just doing the best we can with what we have to work with. Where you start out socioeconomically has a direct correlation to where you end up, so don't judge others based on YOUR life experiences bc their story is completely different from yours. Embrace those who are not like you bc there is much you can learn from them & they are human beings who are struggling with life, same as you. Compassion is a strength.
