This dnb was dope, I never realized that there's a dnb in the mrs vs ae86 battle until I rewatched Initial D. When this track came in Kai decided to push himself, the MRS shows a purple aura and keeps up with the AE86 attempting to attack it. It was an epic moment.
That braking attack by Kai which immediately closed the gap. I haven't noticed that until my rewatch. That was an epic scene with this song ngl

one of the first times we see Tak utilizing left foot braking, which is a feat in some 3 pedal cars. my own is really difficult because the gas and brake are so close I have to move my foot on the gas each time
Left foot braking? You mean Takumi actually learnt a technique from Shingo?
@@sooryan_1018 not from Shingo, iirc Ryosuke taught him it in preparation for his second battle against Kai who would naturally use it due to his history in karting and with MR layouts
@@grimoire9419 yea, but this technique was first shown using by Shingo when he first had an impromptu battle with Iketani
@@sooryan_1018 Iketani mentions it but this is a point where Takumi doesn’t care too much about racing. It’s critical for both FF and MR drivers but Takumi as an FR drift specialist didn’t have any need of it until he went up against Kai in what was essentially a braking battle. Shingo is indeed the first we see using it but Takumi himself doesn’t use it until much later on, was my point
