Of course there's no improvement on speed because the internal data bus of the D850 is fixed, BUT, the advantage is that CFexpress cards are much cheaper and reliable so it's a cost benefit for the D850 not speed benefit

It is necessary to use a CPL filter for this kind of super telephoto lens. I would like to hear your experience and suggestions about using filters at super telephoto.
Thing is, subject detection works very well, but the keep rate is low. It is like the actual AF can't keep up with the subject detection. I get plenty of front and back focused pictures with the Z Fc. Not as bad as Olympus EP7, but not even close to even a Sony A7 III from years ago. Not a very reliable AF for moving action... Forces you to shoot in burst hoping you get 1 or 2 shots in perfect focus.
Type E sounds like a barcode scanner from the supermarket lol

Caution! I recently downloaded firmware for the Zfc from Nikon. When I hit the upload, the camera shut itself down and would not restart. Nikon support told me it would have to be sent to a service center. I mailed it, at my expense. After a week, I got an estimate for repair. Almost $ 300.00. This camera was just over one year old, purchased directly from Nikon and had less than 1,000 actuations. The camera worked perfectly until I tried to upload the firmware. Note - I own over two dozen Nikon cameras including four Z series and I am very familiar with the update procedure. Has anyone else had this problem? Got the camera back. They had to replace the Main PCB. Less than 1,000 clicks and worked perfectly until I tried to update.

D850 + FL 장망 조합에서 무한대 검출 실패시 Jam 되는거 겪어보면 속터지는데.. 물론 3d 검출로 커스텀하면 어느정도 적응할만 하긴 하지만서도 그 찰나에 놓치는 샷도 고려하면.. 미러리스에서는 상당히 쾌적하긴 하네요. 간결하고 임팩트 있는 리뷰 즐감했습니다!

@@jangheelee174 I suspect they will release the 200-600 at first so 600mmf4 will be next year indeed. our footage looks great but I'm still not sure the PF lenses render photos as amazing as "regular' primes. Have you ever shot with the F mount 500/600/800mm and are you able to give some general opinion although you just got this 800mm?
Thank you for posting this. I am still experimenting with my Z9 AF set up. Could you please share your AF setup. Based on using AF-ON for Auto-Area you do not use back button focus. How are you switching AF modes. Thank you.
