The mission of the ABA Section of Taxation is to serve our members and the public by providing education about taxes and tax systems, and by providing leadership to support the development of an equitable, efficient and workable tax system.
Our Goals:
To serve as the national representative of the legal profession with regard to the tax system.
To improve public understanding of, confidence in, and respect for, the tax system.
To provide leadership in simplifying and improving the tax system.
To provide unbiased, thoughtful and timely input into the legislative and administrative process.
To promote and maintain an active, vigorous, growing and interested Section membership.

I contacted the Advocate Dept of IRS & she did not do anything to help me …… this has left me so depressed & at this point I don’t know how to move on all while getting no child support . Might I mention my soon to be ex gets all legal aid free through his job in the UNION ……. I thought the state of mass was fair to women , I was soooo wrong
I have been treated so unfairly by the IRS over the last 6 years while trying to rectify debt occurred while I was married due to husband not trying to resolve issues. If I told you my story as an Immigraint & mother you would be horrified . I filed innocent spouse relief I got denied , even though I got my green card s 10 year green card due to the abuse I suffered , they knew all of this & still took all my money to pay off his debt .
