Surely an DFAM 2 with an evolved sequencer /memory would be welcomed with standing ovations. But Moog lost interest after their 8 step midi-less creation.
Maybe, but I am fine with what we got. I think it's a bit like asking Roland why they never made a polyphonic 303 with wavetables as well as saw and square. You can use further features, but the base product does something cool, innovative and inspiring. I'd rather look at something else unique if was to buy another unit.

The DFAM is a modern classic in my opinion. I think if it had come out a few years ago it would be regarded like the 303. Just my 2cents. ✨🪐

You're welcome - I think there's only so many additional patches I can come up with just for the Edge by itself, and I don't have any modular gear. We'll have to see what else we can find in the patch bay... ✨🪐
Tremendous stuff. DFAM user here but intend to get a couple of Edges to augment the set up (no elitist bullshit here!). This is a great tip which I’ll be trying out later… New sub here for thee squire, cheers!

I've actually asked Roland via a feature request to consider a product firwmware enhancement to do a stereo for each indiv instrument over ASIO, because on the device it can actually pan each instrument as stereo pre mix out. So I'm preposing that instead of 11 mono USB asio instruments they give us 22 (11 pairs) Would be great if everyone started emailing them about this as the USB interface should be able to handle this no sweat and the more feedback they get the more likely it is to happen.

I'm about to start using Circiuit, and it's much more fun to see and hear what you do, than to browse manual. NC synths are fine for me, 16 steps patterns are not my style though. I like chord progressions and longer melodies etc. Thanks for sharing this.

Yeah, they're a phenomenal combo. If you route the audio from the Edge to the external inputs of the TR8S you can add the delay and reverb too. ✨🪐

I've just opened the editor for the first time in ages and got this problem, this worked though. I've only ever had problems with the editor, I never used to be able to see the bottom portion of it on my laptop screen, took a lot of searching about to sort that and now all the text on my screen is smaller as a result and I don't even use the damn editor! It should be better than it is(file transfer!) but I suppose it's better than nothing.
Yeah it's not built well! I'm just glad I can make kits with it. That's literally all I want it for. Happy the fix worked for you though ✨🪐
