Workers of the world, make it so! (All the Lenin scenes from the 1974 BBC series "Fall of Eagles".) Back in 1974 a little-known actor named Patrick Stewart portrayed Vladimir Lenin. In this performance, he depicted the charisma, intelligence and wisdom that would later characterize his most famous roles. Stewart isn't the only familiar face to make an appearance, though: A young John Rhys-Davie...

(I'm sure most of you already know this, but that word means something different when Ilyich says it.)
It does still hold true for today's liberals, however. Don't trust 'em!
I'm waiting for Q to show up.
It was so cool to see this series switch from Lenin and the Tsar. I actually did come to care a little for Nicholas as I watched from since he was just a young man all the way to the end. However, despite Lenin's intensity, I wanted nothing more than for his regime to take over.

It's from an old BBC miniseries called Fall Of Eagles, which depicts the decline and fall of the Russian, German, and Austro-Hungarian empires through the Victorian era through to the Russian Revolution.
@@comradeinternet467 oh just found it a bit ago from a friend and watched it, I love it
It's funny that Patrick Stewart played both Lenin as well as Napoleon in the 1999 Animal Farm.
Pamphlets oh thanks that will be great
I'd be fascinated to see how this performance compares with that show depicting Robert Carlyle's Hitler. A whole collection of miniseries depicting the rise of totalitarian revolutionaries in the 20th century, though Carlyle's performance is significantly more explicitly malevolent (and on-the-nose).
Seems about right.
Really enjoyed it. Thanks for editing and uploading.
Stewart is riveting-best historical series ever?👍👍
He's right. He's always been fucking right.
i never know that professor X is socialist, soviet leader and hero to the humanity before X-Men

Don't trust marxists or communists either.
17:59 Picard: "The first duty of the revolutionary is to fight those forces and personalities which obstruct the socialist revolution" Wesley: "... sir?" Picard: "It is the GUIDING principle upon which communism is based. And if you can't find it within yourself to stand up and take up arms against the bourgeoisie you don't deserve to wear that budenovka"
Amazing performance by Stewart and everyone else, utterly amazing. Also well written. Brings the time and events to life.
