Chocolate Fudge Brownies Recipe and Ingredients:
- 4 large free-range eggs
- 3 teaspoons of instant coffee, dissolved in boiling water
- 100 g (0.42 cups) of chopped hazelnuts, toasted in a dry frying pan
- 225 g (0.95 cups) of Kerrygold butter, or any butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 200 g (0.85 cups) of caster sugar, or regular sugar
- 225 g (0.95 cups) of dark chocolate
- 100 g (0.42 cups) of plain flour with 1 teaspoon of baking powder mixed in
- 50 g (0.21 cups) of cocoa powder
Oven Preheating:
- 180°C (fan-assisted)
- 350°F
- Gas mark 4
Baking:
- Place on the middle shelf of the oven
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Ganache Topping:
- 100 g (0.42 cups) of cocoa chocolate
- 30 g (0.13 cups) of butter
- 75 mL of double cream, or heavy cream
- 50 g (0.21 cups) of icing sugar
