Finally someone talking about it,I agree tangible assets and growing food! What else can be more important than that? ❤
@@AdvExplorer in the past we’ve heavily invested in stocks and now into land. The land is much more satisfying and healing!
One of the finest flavors that a mango has.. it is top tier

CZcams is putting you in front of plant geeks. This is a cool channel to stumble upon!
That’s great! We are obsessed with edible, medicinal, and practical plants. Thank you for your comment. We look heard to sharing more plant content with you
Thankful for your honesty and inspiration! You both are amazing
Thank you for your continued support we appreciate you
Lovely 🎉 thank you
Thank you for being a great friend
Y'all are an inspiration 🫶🏻
🙂↔️ we appreciate you
Yep those are normal prices but zapote is usually cheaper... Sprout your own! They get big so it's good to prune them
Nice haul...id like to get a couple pomegranate trees into my system.
Im glad I watched this video,...appreciate the backstory...i see you
That’s actually the day I broke my back!
Big property...
Yes it was a rarity by Florida standards. It sold first weekend on the market!
Good stuff guys, you look happy!
Come visit us next time you’re down here 💚
mango reina, that is the name of that mango variety.
Which verity is that? Maybe Filipino or something?
Great content! 1 tip for getting better audio is using wireless mics, i had cheap ones work pretty well
Oh cool you have a seedless one! Is it grafted?
I’m not sure but it was exciting to find! It’s mostly sweet too and very abundant tree. It produces a lot of fruit
The seedless oranges in Ecuador markets are usually imported from chile or peru
In the valley where you live, there is a significant dry season from kinda dry to earth cracking dry. It varies through the years but it will be an issue for you. Establishing new fruit trees and healthy root systems without riego(irrigation) will be challenging. Heavy deep mulch can help after it rains. Faith is good, but aiding the trees for the first few years will give you a higher success rate. Buena suerte con tu bosque comestible!
We had 6+ month dry seasons in Florida with hotter temps than here and all sandy soil but we still had great success growing fruit forests. We water the plants for the first month then let them go. They do well for us! Nobody irrigates the public forests and they still survive just fine so we copy nature and have fine success
@@EarthFarm9 Best of success to you...
@@EverettSmithLoveisAll yes we are very successful 💚 this is our 6th homestead and luckily the most established of them all. This land is a blessing we are grateful
I'd imagine the nutrient density of the fruit down there is probley 5 times more nutrients then what you would find in a standard grocery store in USA
6x

Dem oranges 🍊 though🫡
⛽️
Wow those oranges look juicy and sweet !!🎉
Muy Dulce!
Nice! I finally have a few racks hanging. Honestly the machete would have been easier than the saw. Awesome stuff!
💚 The machete sometimes has a hard time slicing through the outer fibrous husk
MORTAL KOMBAT.... oh, wait. That's just what came to my mind as a 90's kid. Nice machete work.

I had just bout this kimchi yesterday I’m so excited to try it later today
Great! It’s a very well made product. I miss it and wish I had it in south America
Oh my goodness I had no idea the purple ones were edible and I've never seen the white!!
What kind of bamboo is this?
Madaki
i heard coffee is from ethiopia originally

Nice food forest.
Thank you!
Ty...do you use the banana flowers also for food? ❤️
We don’t enjoy eating the flowers but it’s often popular in Asian cultures to eat them

Mucho gasolina
I am interested in that soap tree. I know some people use the seeds to make soap, use it to wash clothes.
I’m interested too! I used it yet
Wow!! I love your new home! Looks so inviting and peaceful. I’ve never seen an avocado tree so tall!! Can’t wait to see the full tour and the new updates to the house. Thank you for sharing!

You have embraced the camposino ingenuity, its one of the most endearing qualities about the campo. Buen dia!
Wow I just read campesino definition and feel honored actually! Thanks for continuing to teach me
Nice engineering, not just saving water but also time from watering all the plants!
Yes exactly! We prioritize saving money and time when possible. I have an idea to make a rack out of bamboo next
@@EarthFarm9 bamboo will rot faster than metal though if it's exposed to water.. Depends on what is used for
I'm in zone 8a. Super jealous!!!
I think this is zone 11 or 12. We moved from zone 8a in north Florida recently. Being able to grow year round garden without freezing temps makes gardening a lot easier!
Yeah I was in Hollywood FL for some years and that aspect SPOILED me
@@angelvee07 yes exactly! We were in fort Myers’s then moved to Pensacola after the hurricane destroyed our property and first winter there when the cold killed most of our plants we had to get back
Happy that you've got year round possibilities now!
@@angelvee07 I appreciate you thank you for sharing affirmations with us 💚 are you in north Florida ?

Yovany!!! good to see you
How tall is the plant?
It’s a small dwarf plant. Makes fruit only a few feet tall
@@EarthFarm9 I have one of 2 years old in my garden
@@Gamerboy-jh6vg did it make fruit yet?

Holy mango!! 🤯🥭
Loved this! Would be awesome to see a video documentary like this with interview snippets from every member of the community! 🌱
Your wish is my command: czcams.com/video/PvYbXgOm_Zk/video.htmlsi=UaCjUudbVTGxiybK
I bought 2 plants originally and they send runners out and new plants pop up . If they pop up in a good spot I leave them and start another row or I can dig about a foot down and get to the underground runner and clip it and then plant it where I want .
They are either Tommy or Edward usually. They also can carry a smaller mango that's called chumpa, basically means suck, so that's how you have to eat that one.
Is this sweet?
Very
i hear it is better to take off the fruit and flowers for new planted plants so they focus on growth and not production of the fruit :)
We’ve planted many flowering trees in the past and have no trouble. They establish roots greatly when pissing on them
