The Sea Tow boat knows which motor is best…Suzuki!
HUGE!
Man i feel bad for people that believe this
Yea, that Yamaha is more powerful. It is sad really.
Why? I'll bet even if they didn't fake it, the etec still would have brought the boat up a little faster
Not entirely true. 4 strokes are gutless as fuck lol
And the rescue boat came with Suzuki's 🤣🤣🤣
haha! i hadn't noticed that!
They all have Hondas now.
When they work...the g2 is awesome. But........I heard they have problems.
Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏...
Fake😂👎
BRP perfected 2-stroke technology and just abandoned it for some goofy underwater rotax junk. Unreal how piss poor that company was managed. Better marketing and dealer support plus maybe a better looking G2 would have kept them going for sure. I have 2725 hours on my twin 175 G1s and we're offshore almost every weekend. Love them and will keep them going as long as we can get oil and parts.
You will never beat Yamaha in real life, though you look good in this bullshit test....
lmao.... delusion is rampant lol.
Yamaha Is more reliable and durable
I hope , cause I have yam 4.2 , but I m not sure...
lmao.... delusion is rampant lol.
Etc 5lat złom a yamaha za 15lat
czcams.com/video/fpGpLVLHzms/video.html
That’s a good comparison.
They didn’t mention how much two stroke oil they burned also. When you take that into account it’s probably a wash.
Those engines burn 1 gallon of 2-stroke oil for every 75 gallons of gas. So about 2 gallons on that run at 45 dollars a gallon so 90 bucks more. Yamis needing to burn another 40 gallons of gas even if fuel was 3 bucks a gallon it's still cheaper with the 2-strokes.
It's sad that BRP Sold Out. I feel that they Had the Best Outboards on the market Until they shut down the Evinrude line. It would be great if they would come back in to Production Either with BRP OR Another Company. As long as my Old Evinrude 200 XP Remains Dependable and Reliable , I'll continue on with it !
Liberal polices during covid put Evinrude out..Fact
Sold out? BRP is still going strong. Covid issues shut down the Etec g2. Don't listen to the haters.
They did they are the best built outboard ever people just wanted a inboard engine or a crappy 4 stroke that doesn't even make the power e-tec would.
BRP is still in business they just weren't sell 2 stroke outboard as much anymore. Really sad every body just wanted to sacrifice performance.
Oil cost ?
You could easily trim in the Yamaha powered boat and chew through more fuel...
And which is still being built?
Its too bad such a crap company like Bombardier owned Evinrude.
Two different engines, 2stroke vs 4stroke. Yamaha would kick off quicker then that all staged. Where is the evinrude etecs today? Oh wait it’s not manufacturing anymore hahahaha.
your right he is not pushing the throttle with yammie 200. When he puts the throttle on evinrude they show you the throttle. More BS fro evinrude
@@metinakpinar9724 you can literally see the throttle all the way down on both tests
@@jokkeboi6270 it will be props. Any 200hp will ane a 25ft boat with ease
The best money can by
...ottimi motori... peccato che l'azienda si é venduta senza un briciolo di dignità!
Yamaha cheaper to maintain
Well these guys are not in the outboard market anymore YAMAHA and MERCURY are the future outboards.
At the moment, but the sad thing is evinrude was the original outboard for a hundred years they were in production. In my 53 years as a marine mechanic I have seen OMC go bankrupt more than once but they always come back. I truly hope they do so yet again and it is looking like they may be back soon....
Reliability is the biggest problem with those evinrudes! Thats why i never ever buy a evinrude e-tec💣
I've had one on my boat for last 15 years and it's been great. I had to replace emm unit about 5 years ago and that's it. However, I think they've gone, so you couldn't buy a new one even if you wanted to.
Etecs are ugly as hell!
All lies
🤣
nerd
Motor evinrude 👎
But if you bought an Evinrude G2, you’re probably waiting to have your steering fixed so you can use your boat. Or you’re on the wait list for some Yamahas!
Never had an issue with steering on mine never missed a day on the water definitely more efficient then Yamaha or Suzuki
@@johnbumpus7138 they made some smaller G2s with the traditional steering rams, but if you have the DPS steering, it’s not a matter of IF it will go out, it’s WHEN will it go out? When it does go out, you’re looking at a 6 month wait to get it replaced.
@@johnbumpus7138 oh and pray it goes out under warranty, because it’s a $6,000 part.
@@ericdavi1231 Not sure where you get your information they only thing I can find is a recall with the DPS and it only affects early 300 HP G2’s made prior to 2017 even if out of warranty it is still covered under recall both warranties and recalls are still honored BPR did not go out of business they just stopped making Evinrude motors they still manufacture parts. The sensors are $127 each and the pump is $390 it seems like you have been misinformed or perhaps massively ripped off by a unreputable dealer? Either way it’s still less expensive than having a Yamaha with their well-known midsection corrosion issues. It seems like most of the haters Have never even owned an evinrude Most likely jealousy from people who bought overpriced Yamaha’s only to get left in the wake of Evinrudes.
@@johnbumpus7138 I’m not going to argue with you. Keep living in a fantasy land until yours goes out too.
I really wish the Evinrude were still being manufactured
Same here The Evinrude G2 Hands-down the best outboard ever made
Same they are tork monsters
Hanging on to mine, just replaced the waterpump with a complete kit, and tested it. czcams.com/video/NQMZPMQgtN4/video.htmlsi=YrxwWFTu_qczgwou
Thought it was bad for outboard to run out of gas at higher rpm
They’ll let the next owner worry about that
I m a large 4stroke owner, but for my opinion the G2 s are the best outboards for many reasons.......
Many reasons to spend more money on injection oil fuck them etecs
I don't believe that
Believe it......
And if you running low rpm s, or idle the difference is bigger...
u guys are stupid the g2 is trimming and that = less burn of gas
How much 2 stroke Oil was used on those Etec G2??
I use one 70$ 1gallon oil can each year on my etec 75
about as much 4 stroke oil life that the yamaha needed to make the same trip. oil costs for the 2 stroke vs 4 stroke balance out pretty good
I,m a large 4 stroke owner, but for my opinion the G2,s are the best outboards for many reasons.....
Less than service of the others
Really depends on the RPM they was running but Etec outboards I don’t use anything like the 50 to 1 mixture those old fashion V250s used to use for example running Boynton Beach to Bimini with my Etec 250 cruising at 36 kn at 3600 rpm I use around 10 Oz of XD 100
Wow
I hope that someone rescue evinrude s engines
