Not a click bait video, i went to 3 different dealerships. 2 of them did nothing, one took pictures and sent them in to the higher ups. They said they werent gonna do anything either, only made this video to try and help others. Beautiful trucks but get some PPF on the sections showed in this video, save yourself.

If i did it over id go black. When the sun hit the bronze they looked more gold then bronze. Wasnt a big fan
@@laytonpomerleau but on bronze you see less of the break dust? I got gloss black wheels and man they get dirty very fast

Hey man did you do the cam swap alone or did you do swap out the valve train as well ?? Springs, pushrods, rockers anything ?
All of that. Ported, polished and milled the heads too.

@@ramonochoa5262 depends on your tire size and goals. If you're rocking a similar setup to this truck, 4.56 is fine but make sure you get a built driveshaft. You will find the critical speed of the stock one pretty fast. I split a few of them. If you ever plan on boost i wouldnt bother with 4.56, thats just me though.

Man I might just get a 6.0 i have a 4.8. but it is better find a healthy 6.0 instead of fbo and wasting a shit ton on my 4.8 to make around the same as a 6.0

Not sure if you’re still active but I got a 04 z71 5.3L I wanna upgrade performance for now to then swap into a 73 c10 what do you recommend me doing same thing you said intake exhaust cam and stall/ torque converter? With a tune?
I don’t plan on using the Silverado anymore and I don’t think I can swap the rear onto the 73c10 so I wouldn’t mind not doing anything at all to it

@@laytonpomerleau last question the engine got 250k miles think it’s still worth it I have stock 03 Yukon 5.3 also but it’s garage kept with 70k miles on it don’t really want to mess with it
@@53loc20 Might be fine for another 250. Might be fucked after another 10. I dont know what to tell you bud, if it was me and i planned to keep the truck for a while id go with a lower mile engine

I just bought the same kit. I like it 1/2” lower in the front. It looks dumb when you throw a little weight in the back and then the front sits higher. This is perfect 👍🏻 because all your stock front suspension components stay in spec. They don’t if you go anymore than 2 inches.

I think there is more clearence on the new body style. You will be rubbing pretty good if its all stock.

I have a 5.3 motor Chevy just put a stage 2 cam , but I always run e85 since it’s a flex fuel truck , tuner did his tune tweaks can i just keep running it how it is or it need 91 or the e85 sensor
