The original audio comes probably from the Louisiana Hayride on Oct 16th 1954 were Elvis performed sometimes between 1954-1956. The instrumental part was reworked by former Stray Cats group member Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker. Danny B. Harvey is on lead guitar. These 3 men forms the band called "Swing Cats"

There are two versions of this song recorded by EP. The first is from the Loving You album, recorded on February 23rd 1957 The second is the Jailhouse Rock version recorded on May 9th 1957 The Jailhouse Rock version suffers from poor recording technique (no fault of Elvis) similar to Baby I Don't Care, which affected the tone of the songs, unlike the other Jailhouse Rock songs.
