These were some great track conditions. I’m not an MX rider but I find myself enjoying riding MX tracks more and more. There’s a lot to learn for me and this is a great track to learn on when the conditions are like this. I highly recommend a trip out here if you haven’t been recently. Dark Hose MX is newly open to the public. They have 4 tracks, a kids track, a turn track, a vet track which we are riding in the video and a more advanced level main track. This is the Sunday 50B race. This is my first race back after tearing my ACL. Unfortunately the camera lens got covered up with mud near the start and it took me a while to clean it so I cut that bit out

This is the first race in the new 2024 season of the Texas Off Road Championship Series. Some great conditions meant lots of grip and close racing. Finished 9th from 27 in Open B class so definite room for improvement. The next TORCS round is more of a sand race and should shake things up a bit. Watch out for the video in February! I do not trust those slabbed crossings. Algae is slick as owls shit OK TAT is notorious for that and others have taken me down twice in west Texas. Cross where the car tires go. Or walk it first.

I did the whole NM BDR in September of this year and fortunately didnt hit any mud, but kept saying that this would be a nightmare had it rained. Glad things worked out for you.

I noticed it and used it the last 2 laps I believe. Yes it was a great battle and I’m looking forward to this next season

Yes for sure. I didn’t see that line until later. I ended up passing both later in the race. But I also got passed by a guy that’s was on my tail. I think he used that line

Those trails should be one-way. I about got killed by a family of small (125cc) quads coming around a corner. There were four of them. I got run off the trail and let them pass. I just think it is stupid so make those 2-way. WTF are they thinking?

i believe 17 to 18 minutes
It was about 17:30 for me on Saturday and just under 17 mins on Sunday

It’s just South of Brenham. They are not open yet for the track and trail but opening next year. We got invited to a preview to try it out

Yes it did. It was a pretty dumb place to crash. The front wheel came up a bit higher than I was expecting and just couldn’t seem to avoid that tree 🤦🏼♂️🤣
