check my other video, i have the both models of Ocea Jigger LD. mine was pretty smooth, i even tested it out on the water. felt smooth. i had a similar issue with one of jigging master reels a while back but it was smooth after a couple of trips.

i had other reels with more line but i wanted to land a giant on Saltiga 4000, it was a bit of stretch for sure.

unfortunately they dont do left hand.

very important specially with the kinda fishing i do.

4000 XH, very nice size, not too big, still very light.

For the type of fishing i do, 4k is the best size. Not too heavy but still solid

lovely reel, powerful, feels solid. the only problem i had with was bail arm bearing gave up after 6 months. thats not covered under Daiwa warranty so had to pay 80$ to fix that.

its called the Shimano Kaos rods, also known as in New Zealand as Shimano Black out.

the rod i paired it with, ocea legacy elementus pe 4. its 300 to 600 gram lure rating. beautiful match up. but another good option is Shimano ocea jigger motive rods.

pretty heavy compared to the other ocea jiggers.

there are a few suppliers but since they can be found all over now, its much easier to get it locally.

They are literally the same, no weight or size difference, feels the same while using it. only minor difference is the retrieve, MG is 105cm while HG is 117. not a massive difference.

I would prob go MG. The retrieve is good enough for slow pitch but you probably getting better crank with MG

@@quangdexter MG is probably better if you are slow pitch jigging in not too deep water. but if you are in deep water jigging or mechanical jigging then HG would be a better option

agree, i tried it couple of weeks ago. it does help with the extra retrieve

it really depends on what kinda fishing you do, i have both, i prefer the XGFK for more inshore fishing, its very light and fun to fish with. i use the SW series to target bigger fish off shore but they are both awesome reels.

its a beautiful reel to use, it feels premium, handles big fish with ease but I am afraid I will always prefer Stella.

prefer to take my time with a lighter reel, more fun in that

Thanks, Yup thats the one. Most of the other bigger jig heads come with a huge hooks. Never had much luck on them. These work well for me

I believe it was a slider. Some call it Kabura. Perfect for bottom fishing

I have had a few interactions with big fish, so far its has performed well, no complains there. i haven't uploaded videos of it tackling the giant kingfish of newzealand, will upload soon. stay tuned.

Beautiful reel, but i had the same issue as i had with other daiwa reels, the bail arm bearing became too noisy after a couple of months

Its a NewZealand Brand Ocean Angler Giko rod. Awesome rod for casting lighter lures further

Mine is still ok, haven’t had that issue yet but i would take it back to Daiwa if i have that issue for sure.

it sure is, its beautifully made, handles big fish with ease. not a big fan of using heavy reels to catch big fish, prefer to use lighter reels but take my time with it.
