Before I even watch the video, I know the answer: Yes, you can weld with thermite, they did it a lot for railroad tracks a long time ago. After a quick google search, they STILL do it, huh
Beautiful view
Love, love, love. Will blog, blog, blog.
So much good.
Please drop a vid when it's commercial. I really want one.
worst tutorial 🤣🤣🤣
This is exactly what I been searching for. I totally agree with the issues you had with the commercially available cat trackers that are out there. I love all the features you put into your design. How much would you estimate everything would cost to make one myself? Ever think about selling a FindMyCat kit? A kit is way less intimidating than trying to source all the parts myself. Love the project keep up the great work. :D
you gotta heat up tbe rebar first. red hot. and the pot is ok. better than tin foil. then fill the gaps where you dont want the molten thermite to escape, with clay. then itll weld.
This is amazing. Thanks for your effort.
Dude just created open source air tag alternative! 🎉
lovely!
How much quarts did you have to put in there?
I checked ALLDATA website is 2.4 quarts . The best way you check how much oil you drained then fill back exactly amount you just drain add more one once of oil
Huh?
Love this. The electronics box is a little bulky in my opinion but clearly you tried to get it as small as possible and the only way I could personally make something with all those features so small would be to put it in a press, but that wouldn’t help anything but the form factor 😂 Lucky for me though, my cats are terrified of the outdoors and run for cover whenever an external door handle is turned 😮
This is really cool, not only for cats but dogs or robot lawnmowers etc 😀
Do you also get a notification when the battery is low ?
Genial..!!!
nice!!!
When can I get this?
Well done!!! Went through the docs and it's amazing. Any plans to release an app for Android as well? What about Discord? 😂
@Dviros, Thank you :) We have a slack, if you would be interested in joining. Re: Android; definetly a future possibility, and I also welcome a community contribution for that if someone gets to it before me, as it would be a significant undertaking :)
Why not add a kickstarter?
@timgodin, perhaps in the future :)
Haven't been inspired by a project like this in a while. Incredible craftsmanship, utility and aesthetics! Thank you <3
These types of pet trackers are dime a dozen, the main problem is that they rely on cellular network coverage. In too many areas it is completely unreliable. If you want to re-invent a cat tracker, I recommend iterating on what Findster Duo did, it did not rely on cell networks, no subscriptions, decent battery life and was actually great in general. Unfortunately the company shifted to some useless fitness step counter and went out of business afaik. Would have loved to see a slimmer and 2.0 version of Findster Duo. Also, be sure to use break-away collars with cats or it's a choking risk ;)
Thank you for the feedback @Limedrum!
Well that turned out great.
Absolutely love your video editing. This looks like such an awesome project; I wish I had a pet to put one together for 😅 Awesome job on this!!
Thank you Joel!! Good to hear from you!
How lond did it take to finish this?
I want my 2:34 seconds of my life back !!!
Those cars have huge backseats
car should be level when you do this
There is no dip stick; you check and fill it into the fill plug above the drain plug. Fill almost to the top, or; when a little drop leaks out of the fill hole. With the fill plug still out, start the car; foot on the brake engine running slowly go up and down through the gears a couple times. Put it in park with the Emergency Brake on still running. Get underneath your car; slowly add more until another drop runs out of the pan. Now it's full; put the plug in. Thanks Japan for making good cars more complicated !! America too !!
Excellent work
2 questions 1. Why don’t refill using the dipstick tube 2. Is WS the right fluid for this car?
There's no dipstick on a facelift with 6 speed Im not sure if the fluid is correct as i think we use a different viscosity of oil in the uk because of the conditions.
Yeah mine doesn’t have a dipstick. 06 Gs430

OME Oil will last you a life time don't change it!!!
How long is a life time?
1mill miles
So cool
That only changes about 2 quarts of the roughly 10.5 quarts.
Total capacity is 1.9 quarts according to owners manual
after watching this video i still don't know how to drain and fill my trans fluid
Haha but he took day and night..
hope you enjoyed the obligatory music though
how many liters did it take ??
1.8 liters
Perfect
Well that was worthless
Ikr
Why?
How? It showed you exactly what you need to do in less than three minutes
Anything unusual after transmission fluid replaced?
i have an ls430 , 2004 in the uae with 221k miles & i've never changed the transmission fluid. its shifts totally normal along the 6 gears but when i changed the radiator; i noticed that the fluid is dark ( transmission cooler gave me this observation). i wanna change it but usually when changing the fluid if not done correctly , it'll screw up the transmission. any advice?
btw i own this car for the majority of its mileage ( it has the original engine & transmission).
@@saqrbasim4184 I changed my transmission oil and I was praying that my gear don't give me hard time Coz the mechanic said me the gear might stop working ! I still wanted to change coz my car won't go reverse at some time Well turns out world was pretty good gear is good but I still have reserve prob at the morninG start . There is specialist Mechanics only for ls 430 in sharjah.
@@mohammadsohail2850 can you give me name of any garage with specialist
Heyy, can you please help me with this project? I’m doing this as my research thesis and I want to fully understand how it works? Hoping to this to reach you. Thank you in advance 😊
Maybe if you preheat the pot in a kitchen oven on 300 degrees for an hour. This might work better.
holy shit finally someone has a video I am looking for
Which drone you are using ? Is it a DJI ?
Nice bro 👍 Keep it up..... By the way , I am living in swapnanagri garkheda Aurangabad
Nice man I'm from the same area!
Where are you living currently ? And what's your occupation ?
Iv been playing for 15 years dude dont get discouraged play every single day for 30 minutes. Also a good tip. Get a 3 ring binder and print out copies of all the songs you learn with cords and lyrics and write notes in for tricky parts. Another tip when you learn a song learn the whole thing even if it's not to speed. The speed will come when your ready and not a moment sooner. Keep your head up and play every day. Also practice a set of scales pentatonic scale would be the best to start with and also learn how to read tabs good luck
Great tips! Thanks for those :) I'm going to try incorporating them!
@@SahasChitlange dont give up you already have basic chords down that's what most ppl struggle with and never make it past that point. Learn all basic chords a through g ( play the alphabet) it will help with transition I played hours every day for years. Learning songs you know by heart is easier and try not to over do it no more than 3 songs at a time until you complete them will help
@@renewedmind8460 That's really encouraging, thanks a lot!
