Amazing video man.

This movie seems a little silly and glumsy when watching it as an adult, but it came out when I was a teenager, and back then all this melodrama was just cool. And OMG Leo was the ULTIMATE heart-throb in this one! No other movie of his had the same impact on me, as this did when my hormones were still over-geared.

I can't believe the creator of this show died right when I was getting into it. Anime has been one of the best things going for me since Marvel and Star Wars went to shit.

The movie was really good and memorable. It seems to keep the audience from trusting the narrator. We see too much of Tom's perspective but not enough of the other characters perspective. Tom is also unreliable as a narrator. This filled the movie with ambiguity left for the audience to interpret. Even the ending is open-ended. The audience gets to decide if Tom gets what he wants from Autumn. It seems like a satire of a love story. The message seems to be not to get your expectations on romance from movies, not even this one.

Because of the weak script, the film had a terrible international box office and the film is not a reference for the two new European adaptations.
