Linkable and Curvable | The KC FLEX ERA® LED Light Bar
Your Texas Gambler group has been stirring trouble. Your emphasis on cleaning up public land is admirable. Texas has no public land outside of wildlife preserves and parks. We do have private ranches with many miles of dirt roads, and this is where the trouble starts. Your Texas organizer Alan (Poncho) Cole has run his Terlingua area event right through my yard for several years in a row. Totally without my permission. This year I pre-emptively engaged the Sheriff department prior to the event. For once the Gamblers did not come ripping through my yard at three in the morning with radios blaring. Alan's broken promises about staying off of the private roads year after year have left a very bad reflection on the Gambler 500 community as a whole. This year he did better. I just hope I don't have to engage the Sheriff every year just to keep the Gambler 500 event from trespassing on my private road ten miles deep in the desert.
You have an ODD sense of what YELLOW means.
To be fair, Taylor is color blind. But in all seriousness, the cover themselves may not look yellow, but they are slightly thinner then our standard amber covers creating a true “Selective Yellow SAE” Color. But yes they do appear to be amber with the light off!
What if I wanna run the switch to a switch box?
OHHHHHHHH. thanks, now i know which to buy. thanks
Could this off-road set be added to a ditch light kit as well without using another switch?
Can this light bar be mounted with a roof rack in place? I have a TrailRax tremor rack
Whether light bars are legal depends on the state and the situation: Off-roading Light bars are often used for off-roading because they provide extra visibility and can help you see obstacles. However, some states consider it dangerous to use light bars on public roads and have made them illegal. Even when off-roading, it's considered polite to turn off your light bars for 15 seconds when another vehicle approaches. Street driving In most states, it's illegal to drive on the street with an LED light bar turned on because of how bright they are. Some states also require you to use an LED light cover on the highway to prevent the lights from distracting other drivers. State laws Because each state has different rules, it's important to know your state's laws regarding light bars. For example, in North Carolina, it's illegal to drive a motor vehicle on the highway with a light bar lighting device, with some exceptions. In Georgia, on the other hand, it's legal to have light bars installed on your vehicle. Notwithstanding any provision of this section to the contrary, and excluding vehicles described in subsection (d) of this section, and excluding vehicles listed in G.S. 20-130.1(b), no person shall drive a motor vehicle on the highways of this State while using a light bar lighting device. Be honest, was this copy and pasted from ChatGPT?
A part number for the 7" headlight kit would be nice.
So I wanna use my JLs 4 aux switch, I wanna follow configuration 3 right ?
The JL aux switches do not have powerful enough fuses so you’ll want to do method #2 that keeps the KC relay!
@@kchilites I am only setting up 2 lights. I believe aux 1 and 2 have a 40 amp capacity. is that enough power?
Lux is the best
Would love this for the 3rd Gen Tundra!
2 family builds and one promotion build. These are the best of the event? Wow. I am shocked in a different way then expected. Def real. Love the content, keep it up.
So, just to reconfirm for configuration # 2 i would connect the yellow and black to my bronco battery and the other 2 switch wires to the switch system? As i have ordered the 50" titan light bar and i dont think the upfiter switch can handle the amp draw to run them hence going for configuration # 2.
Yep you got it!
@@kchilites thanks for the confirmation 👍
I gotta come visit yall out in flagstaff soon! You guys are rad !
We are always here! Monday - Friday!
Love how the outside sandstone wall curve transitions inside then back out.
May not have had the real-estate to expand at the Williams location or cost of new build vs retrofit. Yeah Williams is a more rustic area.
I thought it was going to be as easy as you showed us, but when it came to curving them, it was totally another challenge. But i managed to get the curve so i can fit them onto my bronco. The challange was moving the small bolt to the other hole which would not align but after trying many attempts i managed to get it done.
Well, i learnt the hard way. You need to curve the light bar, or it will not fit in the straight position. In the process, i ended up scratching the pillar in the center, trying to fit it in the straight configuration as it came in the box. So curve it first then install them.
newbie question, how to do toggle from white to amber mode with these? Is there an install vid that shows that by any chance
What fenders did you use?
Like to see a video on the jeep he chase light!
what wrap is that? the black, red orange is awesome! is that custom or available for purchase??
Thanks. I just got back from the physical install and had to look up the wiring diagram and its logic. This breaks it down perfectly. This begs the question - If we do install 2 or 3 correctly, that makes it possible to run both white and amber at the same time. Would that damage anything?
So there is a circuit on board that actually shuts off the amber whenever the white light is on! So no it will not damage anything!
I guess I’m buying a few sets for my new gladiator Xtrusion overland rack. Spending $1,000 on 6 lights suck but these are pretty bad ass! Haha
On the option 3 whats is the rquirement circuit amperage for the Amber mode? Thanks
10 amp circuit will be fine for all sizes!
So I just ordered it for my bronco raptor and can I wire it up to the aux switch already In my bronco? Also can I still enter places with 2.1 m height?
Thank you.
Love that Wagoneer!!!
Me too!!

Amazing! Now that we are open come say hi next time!
Awesome! I look forward to seeing more as it develops - and I will definitely stop in at your Overland Expo booth this weekend.
Would you stop with these videos! I thought my Jeep was pretty built, now it seems so lacking without these lights. All kidding aside, these lights look awesome! I love the white / dust amber.
Hahaha I feel the same!!
Cant wait to see the finished building!

I need to make it over there asap!
Thanks for the walk thru Taylor/Jacob. A ton of work to do there, but I know it will be so sick once finished. Time for a road trip for the Grand Opening 🤙🏻
A loss in taxes for Williams. I bet the lights get more expensive now.
Not getting rid of Williams.
Probably a good move to get out of California.
They've been in AZ since the '74 lol
We’ve been in Williams, AZ since the 70s! We have an office in CA but our headquarters has always been Arizona!
