Sweet, 13th like with a Sept 13 bday coming. I love this game so much. The years 1996-97, had me frenzied switching this wonderful game and FF3 religiously. Thanks for your take brother, had me nodding whole time. One of my favorite bushwack grinders!

I think i will go with the SNES mini. The SNES is harder to emulate accurately than the Genesis and the emulation in the SNES mini is spot on, even emulating expansion chips like the Super FX chip and SA-1, it turns the SNES mini in a very good emulator, almost flawless. The Genesis is very easy to emulate at full speed and the lack of accuracy in it´s emulation pass unnoticed most of the times.

Plug in wii classic controller for player 2. You get home buttons. Which most people had because of the wii.

As a single cart...Super Mario Allstars is the greatest release personally. I've always had a soft spot for 6 golden coins too.

Konami Krazy Racers should be on the list. It's better than Mario Kart Super Circuit.

Overall a pretty good list except for the head scratcher inclusion of TMNT. Megaman Zero series or Battle Network series should've gotten a nod over that. Personally wouldn't put Drill Dozer in my top 10 but respect the choice.

The SNES Mini is better: The menu/UI is better designed, the controller is much better (and it's beyond easy to get an extension cable for it too), the included games list is smaller but simply superior (and it's pretty easy to expand), etc. All the fluff stuff can be argued over, like how easy it is to simply reset the system or plug in a controller the one time or how many borders there are, etc, but, once you're just sitting down and playing away while occasionally switching to a new game every now and then, which is what you actually do on the system the vast majority of the time, with everything else being something you mess around with for few mins at the start mostly and then pretty much never bother with again, you're getting far more universally acclaimed and revered games on SNES that still appear in every Best Games of all Time list to this day, and with a default controller for playing them that's simply much better to actually use. There's a reason the SNES Mini ultimately sold over 5.28 million units and the Genesis Mini didn't break a million, because--since everyone always goes there--Nintendoes what Genesis Doesn't. And, once you hack the SNES Mini to allow it to play the likes of Genesis and PC Engine games too (along with adding a simple controller combo command to easily return to menu plus those controller extensions), the other systems just aren't in the same league as the SNES Mini, because their menus/UIs and their controllers just aren't at that Nintendo level of user friendliness and all round quality and polish. Note: I owned all three of the main Mini systems, SNES Mini, Genesis Mini, and PC Engine Mini, and I ultimately returned the Genesis Mini and PC Engine Mini systems and simply hacked those games onto my SNES Mini, because the underlying SNES Mini is just superior in the most important ways and provided the best base unit there, and sorted.

Idk how it’s like with the Genesis, but the SNES breaks way too easily. My first one stopped working properly after a year, and my second one barely lasted longer than two before meeting the same fate

SNES is easily better than Genesis, but both of these Minis could've had better selections from their respective libraries. At least they both are better than PS1 Mini lol
