I can try but there are two roadblocks: 1. I am going to be starting Paper Mario TTYD this Thursday and am playing Super Mario Galaxy until then 2. I am not sure I have the skill level to complete that level. I have tried for countless hours and gotten dozens of game overs

Ah, makes sense. I spent a lot of hours on it myself, you really need to bring the right powerups or it’s insanely hard

Tanuki suit and lucky cat bell work great if that helps.

For context, the daredevil comet is a type of prankster comet and it makes you go through a level with only one health. No extra heath either

Yeah I’ve 100% the game as both Mario and Luigi a couple of times and Daredevil Bouldergeist is definitely up there in difficulty

The world is open and free to explore and backtrack but the story is linear and you unlock one area then the next
