Some of these tracks feel similar to other film scores that Williams does. Strangely I feel some Jurassic Park (and a lot of Home Alone) in several ones but this score is fantastic.

This is not exactly how this track appears on the original album from 1991, but rather an alternate edit. For the final film mix, John Williams recorded an insert that runs about 17 seconds for the moment when Peter arrives thru the torn sail. The insert wasn't used as recorded, completely. The first beat, which you can hear at 1:18, is the start of the insert, and is edited over the same moment from the original version of the cue, except its kind of hard to hear because of a cymbal crash. So here is an edit of what ended up not being used in total. After that first beat of the film insert, this edit crossfades back into the original version, that way everything can be heard, just not in the way it was recorded exactly. Now there is another insert in the film version of the track, which in this track is the original version, at 3:42. This was dropped and replaced with, IMO, a far superior insert featuring the Lost Boys theme and covers their arrival to the battle.

Rufio expression walking up with the weapon makes us think hes going to challenge pan for leadership the expression is him actually nervous to ask for forgiveness. The facial expression tricks us for 1 of the best moments in the film when everyone including rufio unites under pan
