First time ever flying manual mode with my DJI FPV Drone after 10 hrs of Velocidrone practice. We had 35 km/h wind today so that made it a bit more difficult. But I'm happy I didn't crash it :D

Just cut the video's to proper lengths. Nobody is eager to watch 15 minute video's where nothing happens! Only show the smooth footage and add a dope song to it and you're done!
@@Innohh I mean like I just don't care to do it myself. Never did, and to be honest I love the pure videos more so than the edited ones.

Sehr cool! Liebäugele auch damit, bin aber noch nie FPV geflogen. Ich habe gesehen, dass Du in den Kommentaren einen bestimmten Simulator auf Steam empfohlen hast. Macht es Sinn, das mal mit nem normalen Gamepad zu probieren, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wie das dem Grunde nach funktioniert? Oder ist das sinnlos. Ich weiß, dass die FPV Fernbedienungen anders aussehen, aber würde das dennoch zum Reinschnuppern taugen?

Great flight, im awful in the sim so haven't tried it for real, any tips?
I wouldn't recommend flying manual if you are not able to fly manual in the sim. Which simulator are you using? DJI Virtual Flight/Velocidrone/Liftoff?

@@DroningaboutIreland I would recommend trying liftoff. DJI Virtual flight is fun to try with the goggles but is far from realistic in my opinion. Just connect your DJI controller to your pc/laptop and purchase the game Liftoff for $20 on steam: store.steampowered.com/app/410340/Liftoff_FPV_Drone_Racing/. This is way more realistic and if you are able to fly in this game, you will be able to fly in real life. For me flying in this game was pretty much the same as my flight yesterday.

I've been in the simulator practicing manual mode and in real world flight, I can't seem to get the drone to be as steady as I can get it in the simulator. It's all over the place looking at the ground and horizon almost out of sight much the time. Very frustrating at this point with almost 10 hours of simulator practice. I feel the sticks are way sensitive when flying the real drone.
Are you flying in the DJI simulator or in Liftoff/Velocidrone?

@@mattreyes79 Maybe you could try changing your rates in the game and in the DJI quad. By changing your rates you can change the sensitivity of the sticks which makes the quad pitch/roll/yaw faster or slower. If you find it difficult to keep the quad steady, try changing the rates down.
