I've never liked a soulslike type of game much before. Some of them are pretty tough to beat too. When I saw the gameplay trailer of this game, I was drawn in by the graphics (of course), but growing up on stories and shows of the mythical creature Sun Wukong as a kid made Black Myth Wukong stand out to me. Although it is pricey, and technically my first proper soulslike, it is well worth the money and my time. Gameplay is solid, combat feels amazing and it is just the right difficulty for me, making the game itself rewarding to play. Don't just take my word for it. Hundreds of thousands of you guys love this game too with the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. Definitely a keeper, and I'm glad to embark on this journey with you guys!
Today, I explore more of the forest, meeting new people and fighting ever increasingly difficult bosses. But one of them, Whiteclad Noble, made me pull my hair out for an entire afternoon. Beating him gave me a sense of relief like none other, and made me more vigilant about adapting to different boss fighting styles.

I'm actually kind of annoyed they didn't go farther east than hicksville. I take the ronkonkoma train to penn every time i go into the city, and would have loved to see the entire line in the game, but no.

Really good video, though refrain from using that version of the Japanese flag, since it's the imperial version and is Japan's equivalent to the Nazi flag. Other than that keep up the good work.

@@ratatouilleakaremythegoat2194 Oops. I had my FPS Overlay on. I'm running this game with an RTX 4090 with FSR enabled. FSR works wonders for improving framerates in this game.

This game certainly is a mood all by itself. I was actually there for the 80's. This game of course romanticizes much and forgets about a lot of crappy things that sucked about the 80's. I won't go into any of it here, but this game does a great job of keeping what was good and ditching the rest. If this games' version of the 80's were anything close to what it was really like, I'd wanna go back, too. The aesthetic here is utterly wonderful. For your information, this town seems to be a blend between San Diego, San Francisco, and Miami. That white Ferrari Testarossa is a direct reference to Don Johnson's car in, "Miami Vice."
That is amazing! You've experienced the 80s first hand! Same can be said for my childhood in the early 2000s. Not everything was great, but it was still a great time for me and my family. If this game is even slightly accurate about the 80s time period in America, I'd sure as hell would like to experience it first hand just like you did. @@DiscoJoseph Hey, Joseph! You can actually, though not explicitly. I'm only aware of launching a private server with all bots. Haven't really played offline mode without Internet (if that's what you're referring to). Hope this helps!

Hey! As of now not many. There are certain gamemodes that are sometimes unavailable, so I just get thrown into another gamemode match. If you have the patience, hosting your own server and allowing cross-play is the way to go!

Just curious what's with the NYC flag in the thumbnail? LIRR runs beyond NYC and is operated by NY state, which has a differen't flag.

My bad. I assumed the LIRR runs through New York City, so I just put it there. I'll get it adjusted though!
The LIRR is operated by the MTA which is ran by the City of New York. The LIRR also operates within New York City to areas in Long Island.
