Hello Mike, first time watching great vide and you the know the best thing you gave out all the information for free. I will keep on watching your videos. Thanks
@@doug9121 thank you kindly have a great day
I’m gonna guess it’s by making decorations for upper middle class sahms to sell at the local craft fair. CNC cutouts of Easter bunnies and Santa Claus and selling them for extortionate prices because your target demographic has no other joy in life so they won’t even look at the price tag. In fact they may be purchasing expensive things out of spite for their absent husband.
@@samus4799 I can't afford a cnc tool and I agree with what you are saying thanks for the comment
The wooden rocking horse is a great find. Lots of potential to really spruce it up. Occasionally my wife or I pick up some wood product and refurbish it. Sometimes we sell them and sometimes we keep them. Your right, it is an easy way to make money. I make my own dowl rods either on the router table with a Roundover bit or using my son's Veritas Dowel Maker. Thanks for sharing Mike!
Very cool project Mike. I like that you always provide such great details and suggest options / alternatives for each project. Excellent job. Thanks for sharing!

Mike, just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos, keep up the great work! Dan
@@Dan-ol2rd Thanks
I used to repair/refinish things years ago and resell them. I don't have time now. But, my brother does it as supplemental retirement income. He does pretty well with it.
I still do Furniture now and then but I like making other things thanks for watching
I bought a round table, about 3 feet diameter, at a flea market. Stripped off the finish and did a fractal burn on it and refinished it. Sold it for a nice profit. I was thinking about the rocking horse. Might make some small ones for little planters. Couple holes in the seat maybe for potted plants. Flatten out the bottoms of the rockers so it don't rock too much. I've seen that where some made little trucks and trains, etc. but not for kids wooden toys but for plants like succulents. Of course they could be for toys as well. Good video and advice, thanks. My problem is I keep watching videos on wood working instead of doing. So many interesting and beautiful things people make. Started watching videos a few months ago looking for inspiration and couldn't stop. lol.
That sounds excellent, I may try it, as I am always on the lookout for novel ideas.
I have the plans for that very rocking horse.
@@davidhabener5767 that's awesome

Other great idea to be looking out for, I really appreciate your videos on woodworking projects, today I have been working on the wine tote and glass project u posted the other day. Thanks, keep em coming. I really like the simple easy design and you did a real good job showing me how to do this. Especially liked that you didn't edit out the screw in the wrong place. Thanks again. I'm off to the wood cart to see if I have everything.

just getting back into the wood shop , hobbyist here, going to build this and a bunch of planter boxes and welcome signs for next spring, not sure if they will sell now. had to have hip surgery in may and before that l couuldnt reallymove around the shop so l lost a season of sellng..
Sorry to hear I hope you're feeling better I'm like you I don't think this is the time of the year to sell flower boxes so I do the same I make them for next spring and they sell pretty good. thanks for your comment have a great day
great instructions. Why didn't you leave a "drain" gap between shelf boards instead of gluing them together?
