This looked like my solution. But when I get to the last part, the resize model question it still resized the object to scale, not just the one dimension. So I had a 12"x6"x6" cube. I followed the instructions and put the mark on the 12" axis out to 15". After answering yes to the question I had a 15"x7.25"x7.25" cube. It does not seem possible to just stretch or shrink an object to a specific number without affecting the entire scale. I am using the free version (17.2.2555 64-bit) so maybe that's my problem.

What you did at 2:35 is totally unacceptable. There's no such things as circles in sketchup . Had you used an arc from vertex to edge you'd the actual correct position. Not a sloppy estimate.

Yeah i know its been 5/4 years now , but somehow theres still no solution on how to export it with grouping in sketchup , had this problem when delivering to one of my clients , the layer that i made in blender pretty much cant be seen in sketchup after i export the model into sketchup . Other than exporting one by one isnt there suppose to be a better and faster way to export it and have the layer also in sketchup?

Yea, that divide lines thing is not working for me. I can divide the lines but the number of lines do not stay??????? Don't know if there is something that you did not show or my sketchup is misbehaving again????

You lost me at loving the Seattle library. I may be old school however the lighting inside is a gloomy blue cast, I find it not welcoming at all. The ramp I find it unfriendly I don’t want to take a hike. I want to find my book and get out. The library front desk is sterile and unfriendly. Overall, I find the Seattle library not inviting or welcoming. It’s just playing gloomy!

That is not an actual fix, the problem is still there, you just didn't take in consideration starting right now and work on your house on some details with millimeters, try that and see if you can zoom to those millimeters without any clipping problems.

It will not come out "correct," when you zoomed in, there is a gap between the first and 5th triangle. Arc tool does not make arcs, so the top won't be in the right place.

For everyone having a problem, just remember to firstly choose the whole object, EXPLODE and then resize

V ray has weaker lighting render outputs than the others. And Blender, followed by lumion are the best for reflections imo

You have just saved like 50 years of my life.

I sized the texture exact, height and width and it is not projected. When I place the texture on the different faces on the cilinder, the texture is not placed in a good order, the texture is not nicely wrapped around. What is going wrong? In the end, Fredo6 ThruPaint did the job correct.

So Despite being required to give it to you, They try to make it as hard as they can for you to read & use it at your own leisure. As you would understand the laws & codes Wouldn't require legal help in those matters, Nor would you be able to let thier inspecters say you failed something simply because you didn't understand what they claimed. Do you also have a tip to do the same but then with a rectangle on he one end instead of a square and make it hollow with a wall thickness of 2mm. I'm looking to create an adapter from 111mm by 54mm square duct to a round 100mm OD pipe. Slightly offset so that one side of the pipe is flush with the outer (long) edge of the square. I can't find anywhere what the secret is to make that.
