i thought php mean the name of the pouch?
Never knew this existed!!!! Great video!
Welcome back Julia!! We’ve missed you!
Can u fit 230g gas with amicus inside a pot?
I currently use Primus etalite , I wish it was lighter though. I m planing to change cozy and just cut the handle with metal buckle. So it will be Abt 350g Without a canister stand. Still heavy, but wind resistance , efficiency, it s low and stable..I like it. But looking at some alternatives. Jetboil stash is expensive upgrade to save 100g
I was on a 10 mile walk with no first aid. at 5 miles I finally looked and had a roofed blister on my Achilles skin///I use thin skin socks and skin balm but this was a friction hot spot. My temporary remedy was I used a folded plastic sandwich bag (4 layers of bag) between my heel and my sock. A very expensive Darn Tough sock. It created a smooth friction free zone. It carried me 4 miles to a market where I could properly dress this rascal. Its been 10 days of walking and it is still roofed.
The bathtube of Danni de Vito..😂
Felt like I was listening to a sailor tell me about swells in the Atlantic
I m scared of midges, don't want to be angry for them..
Thank you for showing how easy it is to take the umbrella off once on! My use case is different than hiking so I need to pop on and off the umbrella quickly. Super helpful thank you!
Great video Julia… I made the mistake of ordering the Orange 1… AND THEN deciding to look on CZcams 🙄 Hopefully when it arrives I can cinch it up easy enough!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Very helpful, thanks!
Great tips and video
Music is super distracting.
I love your adventures... I like you to be a guest on one of my adventure episodes..
Brilliant. Excellent advice. Thank you.
A tip I picked up from an engineer who did measured stress tests on the TarpTent strut system. The guys for the struts at each end are supplied too short - this can lever the pegs out of the ground. If you make the guys longer, the stress comes from a more mechanically correct angle.
Good observation. I'll add some Reflex line to my end guys. Same for my similar TT Moment DW.
I think you hare some really good advice there. The great majority of cows will never harm you. But they can be quite inquisituve. Perhaps you are the most interestimg thing that has happend that day and they will start following you. And therefore you should never run. They will follow you and see what you do 😄 Be big and look confident, and speak whatever you want - nonsense if you like 😂 So they will hear a normal non-agressive voice. I have a few times had bullocks gathering before a stile/gate. But when I approach them confidently but non agressive, the herd dissolves and I am free to go through the stile/gate. Of course it is necessary to be caucious sometimes. And especially when there are mothers and calves. And once we entered a field, Dennis Head just north of Gillan Estuary. And there was a big herd of cows and a big bull eyeballing us as we entered. So we dropped walking through, and just droppet the walk around this small headland - just in case.. 🙂 Better safe than sorry. But normally I believe it is safe to walk amongst cows if you just use some common sense. They are big though, and they are not aware of their size so I once had to jump into gorse and fern to let them pass. Great that you have been abke to work on, and let go of your phobia 😊👍
The veg at 2:55 are called chayote (cha-yoh-teh). They belong to the cucumber/ melon family. Thanks for the video series. You ladies are so fun & wacky! It was also nice to see a camino Ingles done in autumn. Cheers & take care!
You ladies are so wacky & fun! Thnx for putting the prices of food, accoms, etc. It makes a good guide. Cheers! Btw, did many ppl sign up for your camino in May?
Ah I ordered the old one t yesterday on Amazon. That’s going back! Thanks for the info
Really helpful. Thank you.
Loved the video , really informative
Please can you tell me if you got the bus from airport or had to get bus /train from bus station in Santiago to Ferrol please , travelling in May and unsure how to get to Ferrol
Your Amazon links no longer work.
Great English weather 😂 . Like a home from home.... I live in Brittany and I call it Cornish weather.....it comes at you sideways.
Great videos. I like your way to report from the camino! Thanks!
10 minutes with that voice and stupid jokes
They are a good idea. I just use baby wipes & doggy bags. I find that a better option for myself.
Hi. Can you give me the link for the silver gloves.
Good call on the end stake-out addition. I'll try it on my Gen. 2 NOTCH Li. I also chose the"solid" interior to keep blowing dust out. The same applies to spindrift snow. This is one of the few DCF tent designs OK to use in snow storms. Inner door secured in UP position: 1.)fold bottom and top portions into a wide V then roll up. 2.)Secure with an overhand knot PLUS one more turn. i have also added fly hem stake out points using Tenacious Tape as reinforcement. Also I dyed the inner tent (part solid, part mesh) with RIT DYEMORE synthetic dye. (Do NOT get the Dyneema fabric in the hot dye water) Get MSR Ground Hog stakes made of Y-shaped extruded aluminum. Best I've found and very "soundable". (Ooops! you have them) Mymainniggle? The NOTCH needs to be 6" <-W I D E R->
Thank you for your review on the gloves. Take care
Thanks : )
I've used this windshield for 3 years now, it works great and saves a little fuel per boil. I'm sure a lot of ultraliters won't use it because it weighs a whopping 3 oz. But your not supposed to use a full sized screen because the trapped heat is dangerous to the fuel canister.
Nice to see Bloom again - looks like you had fun!
Glad the pack has adjustment for ladies, often overlooked even medical anatomy classes just study male physiology. Your video is the most detailed one I've seen so far, even if others did the same is well structured. I'll be watching it again. Good luck with PCT, I'm not envious at all 😂
Stunning
It might be a wonderful adventure but it is still very hard and you are a long way from home. You are doing great
Really enjoying your videos. Well done
Thank you for sharing your Camino journey Julia ☺️ Looking forward to your adventures in 2024
