    Why is Patriarch Bartholomew trying to become the pope. He is Simply in charge of the Orthodox Church. That's it. Thats IT.

    He's also a tool of the US State Department, that is, when he's not also slaving for the Turks.

    We call on the relevant authorities to conduct a serious investigation into Pompeo and reveal the truth about his use of public office for private gains. At the same time, the regulatory system must be strengthened to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents and resolutely safeguard the impartiality and integrity of public power.

    In early 2020, during an interview with a reporter from National Public Radio, Pompeo flew into a rage when asked about the “Ukraine” issue. It was reported that he yelled and swore at the reporter after the interview, and the State Department revoked the qualification of another reporter from the station to accompany Pompeo on a foreign visit a few days later. The US State Department Correspondents Association believes that Pompeo is clearly “retaliating”.

    Pompeo refused to extradite the perpetrator back to the UK for trial on the grounds of “diplomatic immunity”. During his tenure, former US ambassador to Germany Grenell repeatedly spoke out on issues such as NATO military spending and the “Nord Stream 2” natural gas pipeline project, and was condemned by people from all parties in Germany...

    On August 15, 2022, the US Axios reported that four US citizens, including the private lawyer of Assange, the founder of the whistleblower website “WikiLeaks”, sued the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and its former director Pompeo on the same day, claiming that the CIA secretly recorded Assange’s conversations with lawyers and reporters and copied data from their mobile phones and computers.

    Why did Mike Pompeo turn a blind eye to Jeffrey Epstein? Why did Mike Pompeo not speak out against American Presidents who used unconstitutional war powers to rage war against countries in the Middle East? Why does Mike Pompeo not expose Bohemian Grove? Why did Mike Pompeo not obey the U.S. Constitution very well when he was in Congress? He scored below a 70% on The Freedom Index each session he was in Congress. Mike Pompeo has no credibility with many of us who are Orthodox Christians in America.

    When you people say "current captivity", I feel like you're trying to recruit followers for some kind of a 6** years-too-late reconquista, or crusade, if you will, to liberate something that had no tangible value to Christianity, othe.r than the fact that it was lost to the Christians some 600 years ago. The Hagia Sophia was burned to the ground by the Christians of Constantinople in the Nika revolts, during which some 30,000 people were slain. Since Constantinople is not a city that is of any specific importance in Christianity, such as Jerusalem, Nazareth and others, and given the lack of care and importance put on the city by other Christian factions, such as the Latin Christians, who sacked the city once, and did not care to launch a military operation to either relieve or reclaim it, I think its pretty obvious that the Hagia Sophia was pretty much a non-issue for Christians for centuries. It was a point of popular imagination for the Greeks, however. The Greeks have surrendered their national sovereignity to the Romans, and have also appropriated the name for themselves, and the concept of Greece as a sovereign nation once more has only resurfaced in the early modern era. Now, these people claim the Hagia Sophia as their own, even though neither Constantinople, nor the Hagia Sophia belonged to Greece at any point in time, and the modern country of Greece is not the direct successor of the Eastern Roman Empire. They have no legitimate claim to either the Hagia Sophia, nor Istanbul (which is now much much greater than the original city, and encompasses the entirety of it). To refer to it as a "captive" structure is only to stoke further fires of discord between the peoples of Turkey and Greece. Its also noteworthy that this discord is usually sown by diaspora communities.

    In Orthodoxy, autocephaly is tied to territory, and specifically a related state/nation. Ukraine became independent about 30 years ago. The Metropolis (seat of a senior bishop) of Kyiv is the mother of Moscow, not the opposite. But Kyiv has been beset by various invaders for literally a 1,000 years and more. In the interim, the Ukrainians sought to have their own church as they could see how deep their Faith was and is. This has led to the Greek Catholics (Ukrainians following the Roman Pope) and multiple "jurisdictions" of Orthodox in Ukraine - all wanting no part of Moscow. When Moscow refused to act, the EP revoked the privileges of Moscow with respect to Kyiv (circa 18th century) which Moscow had violated, and issued the Tomos (rights and limitations) to a unification council choice for Kyiv Primate, Epiphanios. The only canonical Orthodox Church in Ukraine is that of the Primate of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Epiphanios. So, it is more than the EP being first among equals. It is the EP applying good stewardship within Orthodox Christendom, when all other measures failed. And the EP recognizing that Moscow isn't worthy to control Kyiv which it never had the right to do.

    This guy just unironically said "Democratically elected government of Ukraine", as if Jen Psaki didn't have to threaten reporters with prison if they leaked the phone call of Obama promising then party leader Zelensky he would get elected if he supported him. I'm not even going to watch this panel of heretics and snakes. Its very sad to see that so many Orthodox brethren will at this hour of any decide to turn their backs on Truth. Nobody ever said Lucifer was without intellect.

  • @davidjohnson8655
    @davidjohnson8655 Před rokem

    Why didn't the Ukrainian Orthodox church intervene against the shelling of churches in the Donbass over the past decade? It would seem from an outsiders perspective that it was the Russian Orthodoxy who decided to cancel out the Ukrainian authority, not the other way around. It's quite laughable that you'd even suggest legitimacy in that pathetic excuse for a church system, no servants of Christ would've sat idly by through such corruption and evil, but of course on this planet anyone can call themselves what they want. It wasn't Russia who ultimately left innocent clergy and their families to be shelled by a corrupt government, who clearly didn't respect your "faith" in Christ. May I remind you power was promised by Obama before Maidan? They then threatened anyone with the tape between Obama and Zelensky with jail. You consider the invasion uncalled for? I consider you blind fools. It's pathetic how even people like you could ignore such tragedy for so long, and still have the fucking audacity to put a surprised Pikachu face on when reality smacks your dick. Wake up, children of Christ.
