Hi Justin(: Names PJ and been really getting into the craft, your videos have me motivated to attempt a frit vortex marb and heard you mention medium and large frit are the way to go for your preferred look, is that #38 and I think large was like #24, I wanted to ask because I notice while northstar doesnât do medium their âsmallâ is just #38 like othersâ medium is(: any tips are appreciated and if can recall frit size used in the video thatâd be the best!! Specifically the clear to encase the fume, many thanks for the free demo!!! Absolutely valuable beyond words(:
The termination is kicking my ass with my small torch not being able to condense it super tight
You make nice flowers- đđœđđœđđœ
I would love a custom marble . How much does that cost?? I'm in
Awesome work, keep up the good work đ
cool.
Thank you for changing the camera angle so we can see better what youâre doing!
Great and helpful video. Plural is âvorticÄsâ in my book, but YMMV?
Awesome. And this flame looks like a laser sword đ đđŒ
beautiful. Please upload some new content! I'd love to see you creating more pieces.

Thank you a lot for your vidéo Justin ! Realy interesting to see you at work! All your flowers is awsome!
That was so Nice Thank you I've been looking for a little while for nice posts like this đ
Ventilation is very important for lampwork in general, not just for fuming.
Yes indeed
Awesome. Thanks for the detailed commentary.
Very Cool!!!
Justin I am just starting the process of trying to learn how to make marbles. Iâve been looking around trying to find a class or workshop (we are in Washington state) also. Mind sharing what equipment you use, or what you suggest for beginners? I realize as well that Iâm going to need a well-ventilated workspace, and also a side-loading kiln of some sort. Any suggestions or tips greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Wow very nice!
Nice!
Nice blue colour!
Very beautiful!
AMAZING đ€©đ€©đ€©

Discovered this type of glass blowing at the fine arts show in Rittenhouse Square, philly pa. đ Totally awesome stuff. đ
thank you so much for commenting and sharing your experience
Fabulous
Beautiful work. Good explanation. I just wish I could have seen the shape and placement of design and the carvings.
Where can I buy the materials for making marbles. Like ones you posted below and other materials
Why only one layer of clear?
1 hr Iâll buy that 4 a dollar đ”
Brilliant. Are there welding filters for cameras? I've always wanted to practice this, looks like a blast.
Your bat kinda looks like the one from the movie FernGully
Totally un related to the craft but I bet that elbow tattoo hurt cool tho
Super cute bat.well don't
Great tutorial, thanks Justin.
amazing the flower looks so natural very nice
You are an amazing artist
Wow I blow glass on my spare time that is a sick ass flower sir i wish I could do that you have my respect as a glass artist
I love this shot as made, no time lapse. Relaxing, and I like hearing what is going on with the thought process while working. I do the same.
how do you tell when you are done terminating?
when the whole pattern is pulled together to a point, and its cut off under the clear. if there is still color left on the clear, it will pull down with your stem.
You mentioned skinning the lense. Are you peeling a layer off the whole lense?
This is just beautiful Justin. Inspiring and just beautiful. Well done
So I came away with a couple things to help me. First my issues were actually getting an implosion. 1st. I think the way you said it made a little more sense on where to apply heat. Plus watching you have a bushy flame verse a tight flame (im working with smaller marbles ) may allow the heat to disperse more evenly. 2nd. your punty removal at the end in the marver then waiting around 10seconds before applying the punty. I can not wait to get on the torch and try this. Thank you for your videos.
Are you using Concentrators? If so how many lpms?
My lord I suck at lampworking. I have a long way to go. Iâm only using softglass so far. Maybe thats my issue? Cause mine never looks this clear. I even pre clean my rods with rubbing alcohol and coffee filters as they are lint free
I bet you are a lot better then you think. Keep it up, i love to see how others create, everyone seems to find their own way. I want to get into soft
Great tip on the coffee filters! How is your journey going? I'm only starting out.
Hello What is the coloring material used at 6:57?
24k gold
@@JustinBodovsky Do you have any online purchase links
@@JustinBodovsky BUY?
@@weisun1702 any 24k or 22k gold bar or coin will do as long as its real. I would recommend a reputable bullion dealer.
Wow, how do you get the petals so thin?! Mine stay too thick and not at all lifelike. Are my stringer lines too heavy or am I not imploding enough? Thanks for any suggestions. (Ours is the first house next to the tracks!)
