Ok I figured it out - you have to select the settings cog at the top of the field column for that contact name, then change the Field Type to Page Link, and select Page Creation, so that when you enter the contact's name, a new page is created which is nested beneath the Database. This will then display on the left hand side confluence page tree, and you can select the contact name to open the detailed page in a new tab.

Unfortunately, there are some known bugs with the csv import function in databases. The databases team at Atlassian is working on it, but your best best would be to open a support case with Atlassian so you can follow along with their progress.

Yes, databases are what used to be called "Orderly". We're really happy to see them be part of Confluence now. For filters, you may not be seeing some of the options if "lock structure" was selected on the database. Maybe check that out. Toggling that off may help.

Hi @katerynakuntsova6045, what do you mean by "turned it on"? Can you explain this a bit further? The automation tab you see in your space is to configure automation rules for your space. If you turn on a specific rule, the automation is set to run and if the trigger of your rule is triggered then the automation should run, for example a page is published,. But there is no specific UI or anything to enter an automation. The only two option which show up in the UI are "manual triggered" automations which are shown in the little lightning icon next to your edit button of a page and "smart buttons" which is a maco you can embed into a page. Our pleasure, we love sharing! So, are you saying you don't see "Automation" in the sidebar of your space? If you're not seeing that, make sure you are an admin in the space. Otherwise, you wont see the option.

On Confluence, a floating action menu appears under a picture when you click it. You can select the text wrap you want in the "alignment options" menu.

Hmmm, that's frustrating. It's most likely related to how Confluence is meta-tagging the image file in the public page view, which makes embeds really ugly. 😓 Unfortunately, we don't know of a way to do this with public pages. You can, however, do this with our app Scroll Viewport, if that fits your use case. It's intended for sharing whole sites worth of Confluence content, instead of just one-off pages. Maybe give it a look?

There should be grey "handle"you can click and drag to increase the size if you hover your curser on either side of the table.

While Confluence databases aren't like classic SQL-based databases, some of this is possible: 1. For this, you can use Entry link and Entry details fields: support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/database-fields/#Other-database-fields 2. You can do a one time import using JQL with the Jira import option, but you can't use this later to populate more columns: support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/import-data-into-your-database/ 3. If you're talking about filtering field values, you can currently only filter based on the content in the column, not the content in other columns. If you're talking about limiting the types of entries that can go in a field based on the entry in another field, no, that's not possible today.

Hey @DavidMacVicar-bi2eg, Basically you can install the free app 'Scroll Exporter Extensions'. marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217037/scroll-exporter-extensions?hosting=cloud&tab=overview Then you'll be able to use the 'Scroll ignore macro' to keep internal content on pages from being published to your Scroll Viewport site. Additionally you can use a special label on pages to prevent the whole page from being published. Hope this helps! Cheers!

To create a template, you at least need access to the space settings menu in the left side navigation, and you might not have the permission to create templates, so you may not see it. So, it's best for you to talk to the person running your space, or all of Confluence and ask for that permission. They should be able to fix you right up!

Sure thing! We'd recommend using User Profile macros to add all the team members to the page. Maybe even add some fun facts about each person. Then use the comments section at the bottom of the page to add those kudos. Don't forget to mention the team member you're giving kudos to! support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-user-profile-macro/
