Well, I've heard rumors of a fantasy elf bow braced by the feet and drawn with both hands, but historically, no, I'm not familiar with any bows meant to be used with your feet. There is a fun Greek weapon called the Belly Bow, however. Sort of a precursor to the crossbow, it has a sliding mechanism to set the string and you cock it by putting it between the ground and your belly and then leaning over.

Recently picked up CoM of Windows and its jarringly ugly. I've watched several videos and looked for more info but for some reason however big or small I make the window everything is more pixelated, specifically compared to your videos. Am I doing something wrong, uninstall the game and reinstall?

In my experience, defense holds single-figure units back far more than their offense. With high enough armor, a single-figure unit can become a true terror against smaller units. After all, a 6-figure unit with 5 attack has to beat the stag beetle's defense not once, but 6 times. Always be on the lookout for extra defense for your single figure units (including xp sources such as the war college). That said, I think what holds stag beetles back is not the relative weakness of their attack, but their puny defense: they literally have just +1 defense over a Klackon halberdier. I'd bet, if you gave them just 2 extra shields, you'd see about a hundred times more success using them.

I loved this game as a kid. Took me a long time to figure out how to win in the game and the secret was just maxing out gold mines

Just finished watching this. Slingers used my giant spider sprites for bombadier beetles lol? I'll have to ask him if he wants me to just make some new bombadier beetle sprites. Shame he didn't use my klackon chierosiphon/flamethrower sprites for anything. Granted, he might not've liked my new klackon sprites in general lol. I'm glad to see that he included my new wizard, but I really hope he kept the diplomacy music that I made. It'd be a shame if I composed a new wizard theme for the Klackon wizard and it never seeing the light of day. If you ever want to check out my mini-mod that changes up the klackon sprites and stuff it posted it to your discord a week or so ago when I finished it.

Hi everyone! So far, I've watched the first game of the stream and I'm happy to see that everything went well for the most part. Hadriex defeated! The mod was already worth it! ;P Someone on the forum was bothered that overland terrain isn't visible late in the game due to all the units cluttering it up. That's why there's this new unit frame that I've already gotten used to. The vanilla file is in the OptionalArt folder named: unitframe.png Caster 15 Guardian Spirits were a last-minute change after previously having 1x Healing and still felt boring. Now they can defend against Sprites and could be useful in early garrisons? I'm wondering if increasing their lair cost might cause them to appear as rampaging monsters a little later... same goes for the wolves... Map generation and overland terrain changes are not modified. I had some thoughts on the "Flood" spell overland. New tile targeting spells have no mod support, but enemy units could be a beacon. One change to Klackons that I wanted but apparently forgot to add is to make Stag Beetles available before Elevation/Tree of Knowledge. How about using the Fighters Guild for this? It also adds +2Exp/turn. So long for now, it will be very interesting for me to see how things continue.

I was able to get this working on the steam version offline. First I updated my version on steam to the latest version still on steam. Then I downloaded the file from realms beyond. Extracted the files. Then I copied each of the 11 files over to the com folder and selected the replace option for each one. I never play the game online and dont have my game set for auto updates. So I should be good. Worst case I will have to repeat the process if I go on steam and it rolls back my com version.

The bug log showed a script file that did not exist in the final official version 1.5.2. Applying the MOD will automatically update the base game to version 1.5.4, the latest version released by Seravy. It's easier to use this game without a client and just launch the EXE file. The latest download link for More Stuff MOD is on Realmsbeyond forum and ModDB.

Wow ye really disliked that riddle dlc quest, with the ancient text. That was pissed off modus galor.

This game, is not the best idle game. It starts out all right, but soon grows repetitive. There isn't much to it. I would recommend playing a different one. NGU Idle, Kittens game, Your Chronicle, lots of idle games with more to them. Oh also rumor is it harvests your data and deliberately slows your progress to encourage shop purchases. So uh, that too.

Those are a lot of mana crystals. Phew.

Incredible test of endurance, i gave up in the first week.

So ye new crude ore sword, gets blessed by Innos, if a real paladin holds it....n ye join the local thief n assassin guild....well ye doomed to never have a magic sword now buddy.

So ye don't know, where they paladin zweihandler came from? Hint hint....lord Hagen made ye a novice paladin. He gave ye a paladin armor, n maybe a blade mh. So we next need 80 brawn, for the free shiny zweihandler blessed by innos!

This game is really cool man. It takes a while to get into to, but man is it fun once you do. You can tell it’s really a labor of love over the years. So glad you’re playing this, awesome stuff as usual. Ty!

Was always sad, that el Bastardo isn't a zweihandler. Makes no sense, n to learn max smithing for 2h users obsolete. Exept to earm gold, but there are other ways.

A. Ye had to pay the 50g, for attacking all the people at harbor. They cheer, but they are not yours to freely harass em.

Just started rewatching ftom start. The dragon slicer zweihandler, needs 160 strength, holy moly! Didn't know ye can get that high. Probably need to put every XP in brawn. N find special brawn items. But what a power output!

Me thinks 50 strength, n 40% zweihandler seems like a good next goal. Hit more often, n able to carry a heavier weapon. Well 1st look what 2h stuff is available in the burned out castle. N what strength ye need for it. Mr. Halberd in city needed 50 strength.

The 2nd way to become a fighter, is by joining the mercenaries. Nice fury neck armor, but they have nothing on ye old windshield wiper paladin of Innos!
