you did not show taking off the rear bolts. It is nearly impossible to remove even to see the front nut let alone get a wrench in there. Looks easy. I just sent mine back.

I just did my 2j bash bar with the dual center exit. Love your build! I painted the white bits behind the bash bar black to hide it all. then just folded the long thin brackets up and they lay pretty flat and hide well. I also moved the plate to the ride side of the bar to show off more of center since that’s where all the “action” is at with three bar lol. I Love the way the diffuser and bar turned out on yours!

After doing suspension install on this model Corolla a few times and watching several other install videos, you come the closest to explaining the part that everyone gets stuck on: the rear shock bottom bolt. Taking the 22mm isn't the problem, it's sliding the lower shock mount off the stud. I've seen most other videos show them taking the 22mm off, then taking the 12mm stud out. Let me tell you, that stud is in super tight and not only a hassle w/ long reach tools, but you're going to have one heck of a time getting regular impacts (num/elec) in there AND putting it back in. Your method will save a lot of time and frustration. So what key part did you describe? The part at 2:11 The reason is, like you said, super easy to pull out the 14mm bolt. The 17mm on the other side will generally stay put until you get things loose, then you can use a 17mm to hold it. The reason why this is so important for everyon trying to get the shock off the stud is the 20degree downward angle (one other tuber mentions this that I know of however he goes about it the wrong way by trying to hit it off w/ force) This allows to spindle to freely rotate and consequently, the angle of that lower bolt. Once you have that top bolt of the spindle assembly off, it's super easy to slide on and off; you don't even need to take off the lower ctrl arm, spring or even conecting rod. (but you might want to remove that support rod for wrenching room). The other part that will come in helpful is having a secondary scissor or bottle jack to push up on your spindle as this helps align your suspension mounting holes and allows you to screw everything back together. I'll try to post this on other Corolla install videos as it is really the only thing that I see frustrates the install. P.S. Impact wrench is great here as long as you don't cross thread. Get things started manually then swap over to impact if you're new to using impact wrenches.
