Optimal Audio Zone Webapp V1 Firmware Overveiw
This overview of the new Optimal Audio WebApp V1 update for Zoners Logan covers all the new features released.
For a full overview check this video: czcams.com/video/-CoI4Hiq6gg/video.html
The new firmware includes a Bridge model with 70v high impedance, and the ability to hide zones and inputs for the users making the system easy to control. There is a new single-zone view for a dedicated area for an audio install. There are also extra 3 bands of parametric EQ for tuning your audio system and OSC integration for controlling the system via 3rd party system.
About Optimal Audio - We’re here with a fresh outlook.
To enliven the rather traditional and unnecessarily complex  world of commercial  audio.
Optimal Audio has a streamlined portfolio working seamlessly together, with products that are easy to install and can be operated by anyone - not just engineers.
Products  are  designed to meet the needs of venues  - especially multi-zoned venues - and alongside the intuitive WebApp, the installer can easily  tailor the system from full EQ and signal processing to  setting  up  routines  and presets.
Sound quality is assured  and  the system is  then easily operated by venue staff, so they have the confidence  to  create  memorable nights of entertainment, engaging retail spaces,  inspiring lessons for the next generation  and  uplifting houses  of  worship.
A British brand and part of  Focusrite plc, one of the largest pro audio manufacturers  in Europe with £130m+ turnover,  Optimal Audio benefits  from years of engineering experience, global  reach  and support.

    question: Can I record at the same time from stereo 1 and M1 or M2? And if yes, how the Stereo channel apears in my DAW? Two separate tracks, or one stereo tracks?

    • @talkback_audio
      @talkback_audio Před 3 lety

      Hello and great question. You can record the M1, M2 and stereo one by routing only the Stereo 1 into the main LR and use the button marked "M1 - M2 - L - R" but this means you would not be able to listen to anything else on the L R or it would be on the stereo recording. An alternative way to avoid using your L R bus for recording would be to plug your stereo track into M3 and M4, while having no buttons selected on the USB routing and therefore recored M1 - M2 - M3 - M4. For the DAW software side routing it will depend which DAW you have for how to set it up. For Logic you could set up two mono tracks and one stereo, set input 1 to mono track one, input 2 to mono track two and input 3+4 for the input on the the stereo track. Hope that helps!
