This is the very reason my husband and family tells me not do get on the internet and search TKR. I have had a shredded meniscus for 2 years. Had surgery by one doctor and no relief. Got the best sugeon in our city and he knew i was eventually going to need a TKR, but did not push it. He said he likes for his patients to try other methods first because he knows the pain for some time is not pleasant. Cortisone shot was not an option. So for a year and half I got by with the HA gel shots. Given my age at 67 and healthy i decided it is time. My xrays 2 years ago were bone on bone and a few weeks ago he wanted to take more xrays before my upcoming surgery and in 2 years it has gotten worse. He has told me all the ends and outs. He does not let you go into it blindly. My knee according to the xrays are becoming slightly bowed where it is bone on one. He told me he can correct it at this stage although if someone has gone for a long time, the bowing gets worse and it is more difficult to straighten. My surgery is sheduled for 3 weeks from today. All this video has done is instill fear in a person who is living in pain, can't take daily walks for 2 years like i have for half of my life. I will put my trust in my God and that he will guide my docors hands during the surgery. Btw, most anyone I have heard of and my husband has a lot of friends who have had knee surgery and everyone of them have said it is the best thinv they have ever done.

Hello! I just got trigger finger release surgery 2 days ago, and today as I was doing the exercises suggested by my surgeon to avoid stiffness, I noticed I still have some “clicking”. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago on my ring and pinky fingers. I believe I got the triggers from 45 years of guitar playing. I am now able to play the guitar but there is serious weakness and what seems like tendon weakness in my fingers and I can only play for 30 minutes before its too painful. Can I expect my tendons to strengthen and gain back the ability to play for hours as is sometimes needed? Thanks!

interesting video. when you say scar tissue, do you mean, what is often reffered to as a knot, ropyness, a sore spot due to muscle tightness. A referred sore spot as a reaction to percieved 'trauma' such as a knock from sport or even a fall.
