I never understood how does this dhovel work,on which pathent? Is it on the gravity? How does it hold in carry position and then just starts to dump and not dumping it before while swinging around?

I don't think he's a very good operator the way he drops the buckt. If you have a good operator you can't even hear the chains rattle.

This might be a new style of crushing but I been around a lot Jaw Crushers and every one of them crush on the down stroke Because it helps pull the rock down the crushing chamber. I’m pretty sure that crusher is running backwards sir. Please educate me. You probably know something that I don’t.

I am a welder and machinist for Lays Mining Service in southern IL. We rebuild the drums and sheaves that drag and help guide those cables in ans to allow that bucket to do what it does. It's just interesting to see those draglines in operation.

I have never run a dragline, but it has to take some experience and skill to dump a drag bucket into a smallish hopper, like this, or a dump truck. Kudos to this operator.

Just for reference on those ballasts. Your average 4 door sedan is between 1.5.-2 tons
