I, took a lamb to kindergarten,and let all the kids feed with large,coke bottle with a nipple on it! I,was given the lamb as a 5th birthday gift.

They probably wag the tail to,say Iam a baby lamb,who needs it milk,so please, don't interupt me.Just happy as a lamb,drinking at the milk bar.

I think you misunderstood the meaning, or else your joking but it means the mother abandoned her own lamb. It can be for a variety of reasons. Bad mothering, sometimes she has too many lambs, sometimes another sheep that's close to lambing steals a lamb and mothers it herself until she lambs herself. It can be pretty chaotic at 3am in a shed full of 200 sheep!!

So very lucky to have found this video-so sorry to hear that she passed away-My Mother taught me The Sign of the Cross in Gaelic the only thing I know-I cherish that.

I usually give abandoned lambs to a good friend of mine who raises them using them for her petting zoo. It really works well, because people get a feeling for the animal, not just the product!
