I used to have to clean my sensor all the time before I switched to Olympus gear about 15 years ago. Since then, I have (knock on wood) not needed to clean my sensors. The SSWF really seems to do the job of keeping crud knocked off the sensor. I try to be cautious about where I change lenses, but have I just been lucky?

Yes, do a video on cleaning a lens and the sensor. Here is another subject that you might concider doing, back button focus. I had tried it when I first got my camera and I didn't see the advantage of it. I noticed how adamant you were about it and tried it again.

Thanks, Lee. This is so helpful to me. Please find time to make a video on sensor cleaning. I tried cleaning the sensor on my Canon 1DX Mark II and ruined it. Had to spent a lot to replace it. So some instructions on the proper way to clean the sensor on the OM-1 Mark II would be very welcome. - Mick

So far I have not had to clean the sensor on my OM cameras. Thanks for the recommendation as to the sensor size swabs.

Amazing lenses, and great, awesome images! I have the 7-14 mm and I use it intensively for landscape photography, but from time to time I use my old M. Zuiko 9-18mm. It is a real gem, and it accepts screw filters. Thank you for this great video!

Excellent video thanks, I have been making all the mistakes you mentioned so keen to listen and learn from your videos. I am guilty of watching reviews on kit but get some value on understanding the kit. I always been a budget photographer so not had bells a whistles, I have just purchased OM-5 kit mainly to reduce weight and move into mirrorless. I work full time time and live in NE England but blessed with beautiful countryside and do best to practice landscape and wildlife. Always had respect for any living animal or creatures. Lee, what you have said resonates strongly with me, I have subscribed and am looking forward to this journey. I'm just getting back into photography. I've invested in a silver OM-5, a logical choice for a long-time OM-1 film camera user! As a bonus I can use my vintage OM glass with the new camera, using a simple adapter. Nice video - I’m sooo looking forward to our 2 week Tetons/Yellowstone workshop!!! Fieldcraft is definitely something I need to work at, but all bets are off if we see that white weasel! Excellent! For example, for wildlife I try to place myself ahead of feeding wildlife and be still, no photos until the wildlife is within 50 years, at eye level, with good background. Photographer position and patience is what I consider as fieldcraft. I am in Montana.

Good video. Yes that reflects my method also. My question would be how you protect your impact-sensitive photo gear in that context - have you found any packing cubes that have padding for gear protection? (Btw I think compactness must be in your genes lol - there wouldn't be too many handles as compact as Lee Hoy).
